Am being pretty carp on the drink front, haven't said before but had to have my dog put to sleep. It was actually a month ago but far from getting easier it's getting harder & harder to bear! He was nearly 14 & I'd had him from 7 weeks old; he went downhill all of a sudden, one week earlier I hadn't even been contemplating it.

    Sorry to read that.:(xxx

Me too. I've often conned myself into thinking I've hidden my drinking really well from my DDs but deep down I know they're not stupid and they must be aware of some (not all) of it. I was so ashamed of myself when DD2 found an empty bottle of vodka in the laptop bag a couple of weeks ago. I feigned shock and wondered how it had got there - not my finest acting moment :o

Good luck with the AFness Mari. Are you feeling any better after 3 days? I've been AF too since Monday and am alternating between bursts of energy and mega tiredness.

Hey Clarabell, how's it going? I'm doing O.K thanks on the AF front but am soooo tired could quite happily go to bed now ;) If only I didn't have a shed load of coursework and work stuff to do

  • Hi everyone, it's very quiet again - I hope that's because everyone is doing ok.

Thanks from me too Pen you're doing a great job and I find your challenge really helpful. Mind you now that Jo is a reformed person you have the whole week covered between you.

Jo, since you asked I will join the Fri-Sun challenge. Thanks for organising it.

It seems only a short time ago that I was put on antibiotics but unbelievably that was 5 weeks ago so I haven't had a drink in all that time, I shall still be glad to finish them though but will try to carry on being af. Only a week to go.

so, Jo please put me down for 1 please.

    Shaggy, 12 for November please.

And so to bed. Night all.
