I wasn't AF yesterday after all, so not the greatest start to November.
Had a blood test last week at the docs, as I've been ill for quite a few weeks now and I rang for the results today. Doc wants to see me about them - EEEK! Receptionist couldn't tell me why, so I am worrying now. And there weren't any appointments today, so I have to ring in the morning to see if there are any tomorrow, GRRR. I hate not knowing. Hope it's something and nothing - fingers crossed.
Have a good day everyone.

Hope that all turns out OK.What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

I`m ashamed to say I`ve had a terrible start to the month. Monday night the mother-in-law came round and she clashes with my daughters boyfriend so I got two bottles red in as I had a feeling it was all gonna kick off and I couldnt face it sober. As predicted it did all kick off badly and in hindsight it would have been better handled if I was sober. It was very traumatic to say the least and the next day nursing a hangover and still feeling rreally traumatised I went out and bought two more bottles wine which had the desired effect in the fact that I slept in a drunken stupor from about 9pm but then I awoke in the night at about 3am sweating and jittery and couldnt get back to sleep as I was ashamed of the amount of drink I had consumed over the last two days and I knew I had a lot to do today and was gona have to do it all with yet another hangover. Anyway after getting the kids off to school I had a good hour solid sleep which has kinda done the trick. Hubby at home with me today so wont be tempted to go out and get anymore alcohol besides I want to be sober now I`m sick of being drunk and having hangovers.0

Morning all,
It sounds like there are some sore heads around this morning (except HB who has boiled hers) also some positive statements re being af. Good luck, don't forget it will not happen by itself.
Shaggy 2 for the November challenge please. (my real challenge starts on 2oth when my meds finish)
Pen 2 for the Mon - Thurs please.

Good morning everyone
Had a moment yesterday when I felt I could go and buy a bottle of wine. But I stopped myself and went and bought some green tea instead. So am sat sipping on a cup now and feeling quite bright and cheerful.
Trasijocha, I empathise with you. Have similar reaction myself to certain situations. Also your comment about being sweaty and jittery really rang bells with me. Monday morning when I had my bad hangover, I tried writing something on a list I was doing, and my hand felt really jumpy. That scared me.
What also scares me is that Christmas is coming. Normally I spend every christmas halfway merry (and more). Its going to be a real culture shock to me.
But I can only do one day at a time. I'll try not to think about christmas until its here. Today is whats important right now.0 -

Another one slinking in to admit a lack of AFness last night
I'm sitting here trying to give myself a good talking to as my head is saying oh well you've failed the Monday to Thursday challenge so you might as well drink tonight too. Grrrr it's so hard to argue with myself, I'm too bloomin stubborn!!! I felt rubbish last night while I was drinking and I felt rubbish this morning and yet I still want to go and do the same thing all over again :mad::mad:0
