Ahem :o ...that would appear to be true.....hello strangers :D. Lots of familiar names still around which is nice (IYSWIM) & hi to those who don't know me . I was always the polite & subtle one.

I've not even been lurking, until today, so way out of touch with what's happening with you all.

Wish I could say it's because all my alch problems disappeared but noooooooooooooooooooooo, it's all been very bad. Not had an AF day for months & months & months...until yesterday! I have a new & scary compulsion to start drinking asap every day once home from work (as opposed to just really wanting to; it's a subtle shift & worrying) & have been unable to contemplate a day off from it. Decide as soon as wake up it won't be an AFD. Lots of bad signs. And no good reason for it; nothing went wrong, nobody died.

The only (dim) light at the end of the tunnel is that the amount I drink each day hasn't increased & I've not switched from wine to anything stronger, but it's still the old 2 bottles a day *wince*. Until yesterday. That's a £ tenner staright off!

Anyhoo, sorry I did a flit with (as I recall) no warning, very rude of me but I think I lost heart in contributing when I was doing so terribly. And see, it's only taken one ittle bitty day off to bring me back.

(Jo - thanks for continuing to remember I exist, haven't logged into MSE for about 4 months so not seen PMs xxxxx).

Can't get on here as much as I used to *collective sigh of relief* no internet at work now  - for anyone not just me! I'll pop in later though.

How ridiculous - no wonder this guy was sacked.
Its not that ridiculous when you look in to and take in to consideration of the many women battered by drunk partners, people killed by drunk drivers, the amount of fights, property damaged (people ripping cupboard doors off and smashing things) Alcohol does a lot of damage but its lobbyist will never allow it to be restricted plus its a good revenue source for any Government.

'ave a go at mine luv; it's been hanging around for about 4 weeks (plus) now, I keep moving it from room to room (currently on the landing) so that visitors don't notice that it hasn't been touched!

To you SW peeps & other would-be dieters - I had venison sausages from Mr T's tonight, £3 for 6 or 2 packs for £5 & they are LUSH , & only 60 cals each! Quite a strong flavour - 2 were (was?) enough for me. Something like 85% meat too so not junk food.
