Well done Aagh (and everyone else having a good night) every AF day counts! Have you talked to DP about your concerns/plan? I was lucky in that my OH went through a phase of drinking beer (which I don't like) when I started cutting down which did help. He's back on the wine now but he's used to me saying no thanks and has started to cut down a bit himself. He is able to just stop after a couple of glasses but I'm a bit of an all or nothing sort of person so prefer to plan a mixture of drinking and non-drinking nights.

Do let us know when any sign of grandson appearing MP.

I've clocked up another night AF. Bells (which used to scream loudly) are now only the faintest tinkle if at all. Great isn't it jo?

That's 13 AF for October, please Shaggy and

2 for this week's challenge jo.

Well Done Aagh- you might find that drinking a soft drink from a wine glass helps. When I first stopped I went through obscene amounts of Shloer, ice cold in a wine glass.

Thankyou all for my congrats and well dones. Heath-Love the happy birthday-very apt.

And just to show that even AF goddesses like myself (Well if I can't big it up today when can I?) still have to put up with carp, I've just had a major ding dong with my DS (I have a friend staying and he is playing up big time) and have skulked off to sleep on the sofa like a petulant child!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Isn't it fantastic. I'm not saying they won't be here again tonight but it was great last night when I looked at the clock at 8pm and realised that I hadn't thought about alcohol yet, loving deep sober sleeps and definitely more get up and go :D

Saying that, I drank so much coffee last night and stayed up for Million Pound Drop and then couldn't switch off so 1am before I slept, then up at 6.30am 1219_tired_smiley_drinking_coffee.gif

Right, better get a wriggle on

    Chow for now
