Well done on the year 365 :T

Thanks for all the good wishes with DD. It looks like it is not too serious but will need a small Op. Luckily this will be done after we come back from Holiday. Holiday and wedding was looking in serious jeopardy at one point as we would not have gone if she was poorly.

Bit relieved and nice to know she is OK

Once again thanks for the kind wishes :D

Wow, thanks for a great welcome and some really good advice.

I thought I'd try and stay AF Mon-Thurs, and tonight is the first night I have been without wine for a very long time.

It was really hard, especially between 8.00 and 9.00 pm, when I had put DS to bed. My hand keeps wanting to get the glass from the coffee table, but there isn't one there!

I thought about giving in but DS was in and out of bed and came downstairs for a bit. I have decided to try not to drink in front of him, unless it's wine with food with friends/family.

I also resisted the temptation today to go via the supermarket on the way home, so all I've got in is about a glass left in a box of wine (and spirits, but I rarely drink them anyway, unless I've already had a skin full and theres no more wine left).

I like the idea of saving the money I would have spent on wine so will put a fiver away for today.

Tomorrow will be another challenge, as DP is working nights at the moment so isn't here, but he will be here tomorrow evening and we usually drink together.
