  • Jo you really do seem as though something's changed somehow. Well done you :T that's fantastic! I wish I could get some of those positive vibes in this direction.

AF last night for me please Shaggy and another for the challenge Pen. Something tells me though that tonight is going to be a big fat fail. Just feeling really fed up today but for no one particular reason which makes it even more stupid. I'm going to try and get home without going to the shop and then, well we'll see I guess.

This is a message for both of you.

I am nowhere near through the woods, in fact I doubt I ever will be, constant vigilence etc. But something has clicked in me.

Can I suggest you do what I did last week, it takes a lot of soul searching and for the whole of last week I drank more than I ever have done and I cried, a lot! I wrote down everything in my life, starting from the beginning right up to now, putting down everything, bad, good, sad etc, how I felt, what I wished had happened instead etc. I re-read this over and over and it all seemed to make sense, I knew why I started drinking and why I continued to drink on it.

This may not help either of you depending on your reasons for drinking, but it might give you some insight?

I feel like a new person, not drinking again doesn't scare me. Still can't put down on here my reasons for drinking but now I have it in the open (to read) I don't want to drink and dwell, I'd rather deal with my feelings.

I won't ever drink again, I just know it.

Good luck to you both xx

I am really hoping you can continue with this attitude and being AF.
I can only look ahead one day at a time.

  • Evening,

Clarabell - how are you tonight - did you get past the shop?

AF tonight so 8 for me please Shaggy.

Hope you are ok this evening. I'm coming down with the cold like a lot of people on here. Keep warm everyone.

  • Oh no DB hope the cold doesn't take a hold, get lots of orange juice down your neck it always does the trick for me, either that or just 4 or 5 vitamin c tablets :D

HB are you feeling any better now?

Jo hope parents evening is going well?

Pen I am declaring today as AF as we have nothing in the house and I am in my PJ's so I have managed 3 out of the 4 days which is a significant improvement for me :j

Hope you are all well this evening and staying out of trouble ;)

  • Well done on your 3 days Shoppy and thanks. I'm taking the vitamin C but just started sneezing now!

  • Good evening everyone,

Seems a quiet night, I think its to do with the time of year dark, cold evenings and frosty mornings where I am.

Pen today completes the challenge so 4 :)'s please. Thanks again for organising it and I hope you enjoy next week off.

Shaggy 16 for the October challenge please.
