What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Shaggy, didn't know I was still in the monthly challenge, have you included my last 4 days cos I didn't tel you bout them?

Oh, sorry scusy manners, morning

I am absolutely totally knackered this morning....usually go to bed at 10pm but last night I still remember seeing 12.30am, had to get up at 6am....it's the not drinking that's doing this. I know I dreamt but nothing too sinister. I need to get to bed early tonight, I will go directly after Idiot Abroad (9pm Sky 1 ;))

My body is starting to detox I think, skin looks awful, like a teenager again :rotfl: but it's a nice feeling to know that I am recovering from a disease I've had for 17 years. It's like I've seen the light and feel like such a weight has been lifted from me. I will not become complacent however, but I refuse to hear bells again :)

Righty-ho, enough waffling deep meaningful stuff at this god awful hour of the morning. Better go get kids ready and somehow stop my eyes from looking so bloodshot......boss is out all day today and so I have to speak on his behalf at a staff meeting (100 staff!!!!)...............at 8.30am

Oh, can't remember which thread I mentioned it on now, but my double audit when good :D If you don't know what I'm talking about then that cos I didn't post about the audit on here and you don't visit my diner* :rotfl:

    *Please eat sensibily

    Chow for now
DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!
  • Didn't get to see a counsellor as they only had one on and it would have been too late once he had finished seeing the person who was already in (I had to be home for 12.30 for DS coming home) so I went to the library and took out some books on alcoholism, anxiety and addicition - not that they helped me I drank a bottle and a half of wine instead of reading them :o am going to be AF today though...

    Hope everyone is ok :)
  • 9 AF DAYS FOR ME PLEASE SHAGGY, it feels so good when you wake up the next morning of an AF day and your heads really clear and your mouth doesnt taste and feel like someone used it as a toilet in the night !! makes it all worth it.
  • Morning my lovelies :D

1 more AFD for me please.

Gosh, I am feeling SOOOO much better after 2 days on the antibiotics, I am so pleased. Maybe I am turning a corner?? I certainly hope so, as I've been in a dark place physically and emotionally over the last 2 weeks.

Jo - I just want to say how amazed and inspired I am that you are AF. You do sound different, in a mega positive way of course. I hope I am able to find what it is you have found inside of you, to crack the drinking. I think you are brilliant!

Gonna get on with some uni work today. Dull but essential!

Hugs to everyone and have a lovely day.
