would love to try the pork but I don't know what 'shoulder of pork with skin left on to make crackling' is in German or French - so I need pictures of the raw joint I think!
    Trying to keep in budget.

    It should look like this

make sure the skin is quite thick, score it and rub in lots of salt.

I made it yesterday, had to ring DD1 at home and get her to go to the kitchen whilst on the mobile to turn oven on to gas mark no. 9 then had to ring her back half hour later and again accompanied her to the kitchen via the mobile to turn it down slowly to gas mark 2. Then I rung back an hour later to ask if the place smelt like cooking pork or gas......you know she can't be trusted.....

Here's a photo of her bedroom floor, something I discovered on Saturday

Whilst taking the photo, I heard a beeping and saw that she'd left her hair straighteners on and been out the house for 4 hours

Thankfully I'm the only female in our house so straightners etc are not much of an issue. The flip side is I'm not sure any of them know where the iron is kept!
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

How about 'Épaule de porc avec la peau à gauche sur de faire craquement', or is that ridiculous?

Ooh, that recipe looks good. Have often wondered what you were on about but looks like a must try!

Think I need to go and find some lunch. I fancy a bacon sarnie with ketchup.
