DS stayed over his friends last night (his first sleep over) as it was his friends birthday. I hope he has been ok, dont like to ring in casr he thinks im checking up on him!!!! I know the boys mum really well tho, so im sure she wouldve rung if there was any problems. Have to pick him up at 2pm, so DD and i are having a girly morning, after our girly evening last night (involving chocolate, ice cream, crisps, pop for her, wine for me and a double helping of X Factor!!!!!)
Not many plans for today, i have some duck brests for lunch, so going to find a nice recipe for them, for DD and i to make together and still have some cleaning i SHOULD be doing, but time will tell what gets done!!!!

    AAAARRRGHHHH RAIN

It's hammering down in all directions, thunder too. It's gone very dark. I've got 5 pairs of jeans on the line  And my huge pampas grass is almost flat

Lillibet, your little Spud looks really cute :D

Cooked Curry queens whole chook in a crook yesterday, I was totally shocked at how much fat came out of it! It was very nice but I think I will revert to roasting in the oven on a rack, it was dripping in fat

Hi, Lillibet, Spud looks so cute in the hat and scarf - all done without a pattern - very impressive! Hope you feel better, soon.

The weather in my bit of the East Riding is lovely and sunny, blue sky, but there's definitely an Autumnal nip in the air. Where will you be staying, btw?

Shez, I neeeeeeed a chook shaped cutter. Where's it from?

Happy 1st Anniversary Pink & many more to come. ;)I think the first is paper, so if it is go and buy yourself a scratchy. I'm sure it will be a winner.

    Good morning everyone,

Well things have been very stressful  in the Aussie household. A 18 month old Mr Jekyl & Hyde is getting some use to. He has been a nightmare tonight. Asleep now. First night he woke up about 8 times, last night he slept until 3am then disturbed after that, I am praying (and you can too:D ) that he will sleep the whole night through tonight.

House has come to a standstill atm but should be sorted out tomorrow as they brought out the wrong type capping for the roofing  . Lucky we haven't had any heavy rain or as well as a stressful household it would be an  one. :D

    Anyone seen Churchmouse as well?

Off to have a surf and chill out. Have a great Sunday. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

I have made a decision :D I am going to FLC my kitchen today  Oh, and I'd better do at least some of the understairs cupboard as that's where the new cereals and boxes of tea bags live.:)

However, I decided to 'tidy' my freezer a little - well, I found a treacle farl in there so I'm having it toasted with rhubarb and vanilla jam. Scrummy :D It's a good an excuse as any, isn't it? :A

Having an MbE stew for tea, although it won't be as nice as I'm using up the last portion of shoulder steak I got a while ago and I know it's very gristly. I can chop a lot off I suppose cos there's only me and Mr TM eating it - DS2 won't touch it and DS1 will only have a couple of pieces at most.

Well, this isn't getting the kitchen done is it..... but then I still have :coffee: to drink :rotfl:
  • morning all!!

BM is on,tea is homemade quicha and jackets pots but is already made.....so inlight of the weather i have declared it jammie day!! me and the girls are watching disney dvd's and snuggling all day:D
  • morning everyone.

scarily, it is sunny here again today. I managed to do a fair old bit yesterday in terms of baby prep. We unpacked a few more boxes from upstairs, so i should now have no more excuses for not doing the office. We also got lots of washing done, including moses basket and car seat covers. As it was my sisters, it smelt a bit smoky, so i wanted it to freshen up. Then someone lit a bonfire, but i think i managed to avoid the smell going back on the stuff.

I also managed to get my monitors cheaper than i was going to pay, so with the savings, me and DH just couldn't resist a little santa outfit. We are really sad i know. It is so cute though.

I think the bump has dropped a bit, so me and DH had a lie in this morning, and then spent about an hour just cuddling and talking while we have chance. Then he made me fab bacon butties, and is now washing up. I think he's feeling a bit sorry for me, and i'm going to make the most of it.

Lillibet - weather in yorkshire. Showers predicted for mon and tue. Nice on Wednesday, and i don't know further than that.

Happy anniversary pink winged - again, someone who appreciates you here.

DH says he is going to cut the grass, and i might have a living room tidy up, and then get on with my cross stitch.

    Michelle, xx

    Hi All

    Long time no posting

We had no internet at work for most of the week, and when it came back I was just so busy getting my work done

Done loads of extra work over the last two days owing to a huge fire that I was covering. Hopefully I'll get some overtime for it. Spent a whopping £210 on repairing my car this week as well as £110 on car tax:eek:

Starting to look for a flat now, only seen two so far, didn't like either of them

Got just over another hour at work, can't wait to get home and sleep
