Hi everyone, and a Happy Anniversary Pink, have a lovely Sunday. I love Sundays.
Woke pretty early again as usual, and the day looks a bit grey, but promising. I hope it's dry when we walk the dog (or it'll be OH walking him alone!)
Pawpurrs, I know someone with a Parsons Jack Russell, it's a lovely dog, but VERY lively and disobedient. Smaller than a standard JR and not so yappy.
Later going to visit family, cook a lovely roast chicken, and make some chutney. Oh, and buy the last hover mower in the shop at a knockdown price - ready for next year as ours is definitely on it's last legs. Going to get breakfast now.

    Morning all :hello:

I woke up at 8am BUT I kept waking up during the night :( I might give in to sleeping tablets.

    Happy Anniversary Pinky :D

PenPen, Rollercoaster Tycoon kept crashing on our PC when we first installed it, it's really easy to fix but I can't remember exactly what we did :o , the techies will definitely know.

I went for hours without a fag yesterday, then someone turned up with his usual 'woe is me' moaning and whinging. He really wound me up and I zipped round the shop for some cigs. Really annoyed - not sure if I'm more mad at him or myself to be honest - I choose this weekend to stop because we had no-one coming round and the kids are out all weekend.

Not sure what I'll do today, I'll pop back later.

    Morning All

DH was supposed to get up with DD today but I was wide awake so I thought I might as well get up instead. It will give me an early start on my jobs just having a piece of toast and cup of tea and then I will crack on. Need to go back to Matalan at some point as DD new slippers dont have any insoles in them which is abit annoying, also going to Aldi to get some fleece blankets for the beds as they are on the Sunday offer this week.

Rest of the day will be boring ironing, drying of washing and getting everything ready for the week ahead.

    Have a good day everyone

Hi Y'all and hello October (my favourite month). Bright sunshine here at the mo but how long it will last is anyones guess. It came down stair-rods all night so my new winter bedding plants have had a nice drink, and my new 'relaxing with an glass of wine or three arbour which replaced the wendy house has had a rinse down. LOL
My whites are languishing in a heady cocktail of hot water, bio washing powder and laundry soap and will be finished off tonight.

Congratulations to Pink on her anniversary. Let's hope the honeymoon period isn't over;) and we are gonna witness what happens when BOARDGUIDES GO BAD (said in a gravelly mid atlantic accent) LOL:eek: :rotfl:

    The plan for today is:

    Church this morning

Lunch: Lemon and mint roasted chicken with lemon and garlic cous cous and salad. Ice cream, melon and grapes for pud.

Visiting MIL this afto with the kidz who are on pine cone picking detail while we're there so I can do some more mulching with them. LOL

    Church this evening

Tonight: Cosy down with Mrs MATH, Midsommer Muiders and a bar of wholenut tonight.

Have a good day one and all.

    MATH x

:rotfl: Morning - pinch punch first of month and all that:D

No drop scones here for brekky, only toast n tea. Didnt get to post yesterday as we went to Ikea early morning to get shelves for cupboard and come straight back...... (3 hours later we leave:rotfl:  )what is it about ikea you spend so long there???? We managed to get the kids into the creche for 45mins so that was good:D

Anway, have painted cupboard, put shelves and is nicely organised now (anthea would be sort of proud):D

DS was sick last nite - even though ive had the window open you just cant get rid of the "rank" smell can you?????

Managed to get some bargains in the NEXT sale yesterday too, havent tried them on yet, got black cargo trousers £7, couple t-shirts £5, denim & white jackets £12, got DH cream linen shirt £10, and two t-shirt/vneck sweaters £7! (DS1 nicked one though!) - only trouble is there room in the wardrobe for these?????:rotfl:

pawpurrs - my DH loves Jack Russells! used to have them in his family called "Cheeky" (quite a good name i think) he would like one now but we cant cos of kids and lack of space and time!

    Morning all:hello:

First off, please forgive the typing, I have a punishing migrane & am just waiting for hubby to come hme from work so that I can go back to bed. I am OK looking at the keybaord but when I look at the screen my sight goes all wobbly, and as for the headache.......

(Oh, can't do anymore smilies, too much screen time)

Happy Anniversary Pink, which one is it?

Snowy, I learnt to knit a couple of months ago, be warned it is totally addictive! First I knitted Spud a hat & scarf set
    http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f352/Lillibet123/HatandScarf2.jpg

then a multi coloured scarf for my dad for his bithday (don't know what he'll say, it's a bit bright) then Xmas stockings & now am knitting a Spurs scraf for my uncles birthday (which is very hard as I & the rest of the family are life-long arsenal supporters). Must move onto something more complicated soon though...heaven forbid maybe even try to follow a pattern?!

Migarane is a bit of a pain today (in more ways than one) as Hubby brought me home to HUGE watermeoln size & shaped marrows yesterday which I was going to turn into gratain & freeze today, he found them in a field where he was measuring trees (he's a countysidde ranger so not as hippy as it sounds), plus i need to have a big cook-off to make things for Spuds meals ; why did I get a child who is the fussiest eater in the world? Am tryign to persuade him to eat chicken but it's an uphill battle!

Cooked Curry queens whole chook in a crook yesterday, I was totally shocked at how much fat came out of it! It was very nice but I think I will revert to roasting in the oven on a rack, it was dripping in fat

All housework etc (and attending church for that matter) are going on hold today, I just don't feel up to it. A pain a s we are going away next week & I wanted to get on top of things before we go on tuesday. Anyone tell me what the weather is like in Yorkshire a the mo?

Edit Sorry, have just realized I have rambled on & on & on....we aren't supposed to do that anymore are we. Oops, I promise I will try harder next time!

    Morning everyone :hello:

We're trying to decide what to do today as I don't have THAT much planning to do for once. It's tricky because if I go too far away then I feel guilty that I'm not doing my planning, but if I do planning then I'm not getting out and about.

Supper tonight will be something from one of our mega batch cooking sessions. As they're not labelled then it will probably be pot luck :D, but I will try to get some bolognese sauce out! :p

My "boys" won yesterday. It was quite painful at points because the ref couldn't quite decide who he was playing for. Most of the time, he was playing for the opposition (don't they all :D), but other times he was playing for the title of "Worst ref in the world".

Oh, and we've put an offer in on another house! Saw one yesterday morning, very similar to another house that we had ruled out because it was slap bang opposite the leisure centre (and you could see people working out in the gym from the kitchen window!)......... We're just waiting to get confirmation that the bloke does actually want to move in with his girlfriend....

Have a good day all
