Not a lot happening as I am on nights. I have popped on to read but saved updating until I had a bit to share. I love this site, Think I have gone from one extreme to the other :j:rotfl::T

Had a trip to cash generator, thats in a thread of its own.

Changing my bt calls and broadband and sky package to a all in one package with sky. Saving of £40 a month :T. Thats a total saving of £80 a month on utilities, thanks to all you fab people.

Working very hard to get money towards £500 payday loan, due to be paid 15th October. So next month going to be the hardest, not renewing my payday loan. I am worn out but just keep thinking of the extra Cash to clear my PDL.

Being very money savvy, round the house, everything I do i am asking myself, can I do this cheaper ? And I have not bought myself a thing since starting this thread, and never wanted for anything. Even started measuring my bubble bath, two cap fulls, lots of bubble, usually I would just pour it in. DH has not even noticed half the things I have changed or cut down on.

Also done 2hrs flexi bank work this morning and 2hrs for in the morning too :T

W:jW i just love being here, all who have supported me :A. Hope as i continue to learn stuff, I can support others as you all have me.

    BIG BIG THANK YOU.

Sounds like good bye, NOOOOOO WAY

    :)

The provident lady was not to happy with me today.

I told her I could not pay her. In the past I would have missed something to pay her, as she comes to the door, others write letters.

Me - sorry i cant pay you today
    P lady - oh why
me - I have no money.
P lady - can you pay half
    me - no
P lady - can you pay anything at all
    Me - no nothing
P lady - ok, will you be paying double next week
Me - if I have any extra money, I will pay toward missed week but wont be paying all of it, if any of missed week at all.
P-lady well you will probably get a letter about it.
    Me - ok

She did not chat as she usually does and left.

I know this may the the wrong way to feel, but I felt good, not that i had not paid her of course, but that I had paid my priorities and faced her and told her I had no money to pay her. Instead of Finding it......via payday loan :T

    6 days to pay day

    Good Morning,

Deamerhelen, what do you mean, people like you ? I am people like you and so is best part this board. Have to find your threads and have a pep talk with you, As our Cheryl would say, believe in yourself "your worth it" :)

Jamiedodger, thanks for popping in and staying, I will catch up with your thread asap.

I usually do my shopping at Asda, but was on the opposite side of town yesterday, so Morrison's was a better option (in the past would have just wasted the petrol one and gone to Asda). Well opposite Morrison's was Iceland. So thought I will have a look. Well I could not believe it. I felt as if 90% of the stuff was a £1 and under, even none frozen stuff, bread, biscuit's, cheese, cooked meat, etc. Spent £21 had lots of stuff, Went in to Morrison's and only spent £6......total spent £27. I used to spend £40-50 in Asda no problem.

What I have found usefull is shopping in shops that only sell food. Asda was, the George section, then the household stuff etc.

Continuing to cook meals too, but must admit, just being two adults and no children, I did find a lot of things is Iceland cheaper to buy than make, I got a fab deep pan pizza for £2, lots on it. Taking into account, what was on it, the gas to cook it, I doubt I could have made it for less, could well be wrong on that, just my opinion.

Have a Fab Sunday All, be back later :A

There is just no pleasing me. Good News, my PPI claim came through of £4.500.00 (just rounded that up a tad). :j

You would think thats all my problems solved. But I know me very very well and I am now going to have a different set of problems. After paying my debts, I have to learn to to hang on to spare money.

I have been in this situation a few times, cleared my debts, then thought OK, thats me sorted and done exactly the same thing again. Determined not to go there again, I feel not spending any money lying around is going to be 10 times harder for me to resist than, not wasting money that is to pay debts.

    :)
