The main reason for using Pamela to record Skype calls is because you do not have free unlimited calls to OC's 0845 recording number from your landline phone.

But it is possible to use Pamela to record calls made direct from your landline to the customer's number you want to call! How can this be done?

Pamela has a built-in custom recorder that will take input from a microphone source attached to your computer. Even the free Pamela Basic has this feature and it is NOT limited to 15 minutes recording either.

Providing you have a PC-compatible microphone (you can use the microphone built-into your webcam) and a loudspeaker phone it is quite easy to make recordings onto your PC.

All you need to do is position your loudspeaker phone, microphone and yourself in the best position to get the right volume and balance between your voice and your customer's voice.

You will, of course, need an unlimited calls package from your landline phone provider (to 01/02/03 numbers) and you will have to make all calls using the loudspeaker phone. You will also have to manually start and end the call recordings.

If your landline provider provides limited free calls to 0845 numbers (eg BT) I would still suggest using OC's 0845 call recording number to make calls to mobiles.

Phew done a mammoth 9:30 - 5:30 shift today ... With a few crafty fag breaks in between obviously and acheived a personal best of 28 Surveys!!! :cool:

Given all the calls you are making (presumably still by Skype) you must be exceeding the 50 calls/day limit on Skype. Are Skype charging you for calls in excess of that daily limit?

I think it is something that others would be very interested to know!

People seem vey amenable to do doing surveys this week! Have already earned £13 this morning in just 36 minutes!

Agee with that mate, Yesterday was crazy it was pretty much every call I made was willing to do one,

Having a slow start so far today though, Am sure business will pick up soon though

So am I right in thinking that you just log in and make calls when you feel like it? Or do you pre book shifts?

Well obviously first you have to apply and do a trial assignment and if they think you are up to the job then yeah.

Youll need to pay 4.59 for a Skpe subscription, Download some call recording equipment and grab a decent headset off ebay or somewhere similar and then your ready to rock n roll :cool:

You can do as many hours as you wish (minimum 10 hours/week) but you can only do surveys within the times stated against each type of survey.
