thanks for the advice Paul. Everything is downloaded and ready to go. I decided to go with one of the other alternatives you suggested to record the calls.
I have spoken to OC and its fine for me to start tommorow. I am both nervous and excited at the same time! Not nervous about doing the actual work, but just a bit worried that the calls wont be recorded properly and I wont get paid!
Was going to start today, but have been ill over weekend and I dont think people want me sniffing and sneezing down the phone at them;)
Will let you all know how it goes! thanks again for your help:)LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
Seems you got yourself set up pretty quickly, but take your time today, read the guidelines and don't take it personally when people have a go at you on the phone.0

thanks Paul. As I have decided its best to not start until tommorow due to this awful cold ive got, Ive just printed off the survey brief on bulk surveys. I am going to take my time reading through it today to get myself familar with everything that I need to do.
Just hoping I get off to a flying start tommorow, fingers crossed!:)LBM: April 2009 - honest debt figure: Secured: £0.00!! (paid back april 2017) unsecured: £53117.48 (roughly) back with CCCS starting again:(0 -
jasperconran...
A batch of surveys has not yet hit us this month. If you find you run out of surveys ask OC if they have any other surveys they can give you access to.0 -
A batch of surveys has been uploaded for this month (about 10 days late). They need to be completed before the end of the month.0

Thanks for the tip Paul. due to illness etc I didnt even get started last weekdue to start tommorow.
Can I just ask one thing. I believe from previous posts that you work roughly 30 hours per week for OC is that correct? is this something that you do regularly? I am just trying to work out how many hours that I can put in on a weekly basis.

Yes, I do 30+ hours most weeks. Some weeks I do less, it depends on how I feel - old age catches up with everyone!jasperconran wrote: »is this something that you do regularly?
Yes, practically all my work is now telephone surveys for Optimum Contact. I have been doing them for over three years.jasperconran wrote: »I am just trying to work out how many hours that I can put in on a weekly basis.
You are committed to doing at least 10-15 hours each week. In general, there has been plenty work for some months now so the upper hours are only limited by how much you want to work.0 -

I did start to do the surveys but found that I was getting mainly no's or no answers, so just found that it wasnt really for me, think I don't like rejection, lol0
