Hi cowboymum,
There's an older thread with some ideas that might help so I've added your thread to it to keep all the suggestions together.

Treacle tart.
You can eat it hot or cold, with custard, cream, ice cream or alone.
Also, treacle pudding, although that is more pudding than treacle.0 -

Treacle tart and treacle pudding both use golden syrup
You can use treacle in baked beans :j

Visited the Sainsburys local near to work for some milk and they had quite a few baking bargains - love to bake so got a few included were 2 tins of Black Treacle for 14p each with over a year until they need to be used. Now I make gingerbread with treacle in it but wondered if any MSE's out there with any other Black treacle recipes that they would like to share. Oh and Thanks in advanceFibro-Warrior0

I used to make a treacle bread, which was delicious, but I can't find a recipe in my books. It was moist, dark, fab with butter on it. Would make a great addition to lunchboxes. There were sultanas/raising in it, and I suppose the closest I can compare it to was a dark ginger cake.0
