And no, the new IVA system won't affect your bankruptcy at all.
How do you mean extreme? Fraud and stuff?0 -
What figures do I put down for my creditors? Do I just list them as they were when I undertook the IVA?0

There are some folks posting outside of this board that are downright antagonistic towards anyone with bankruptcy. These folks simply don't understand. Don't worry about it!0 -

Some folks don't give a thought to other people, that is the problem.
I have done counselling for a number of years and, believe me, when you hear other people's problems it makes your own look so small by comparison.
Since I have been to the door of bankruptcy, and was thrown there, I know what you mean about having to experience it first.
However, there is such a thing as empathy, which a lot of folks have never heard of and wouldn't understand if it came up and bit them!!
We never know what is around the corner, for any of us.0 -

I have first hand experience of this. I've been depressed for months now since an ex-friend of mine found out about my debts and started blurting it out all over town, in the pubs, in the street everywhere. But my other friends ( the ones who care) told me to ignore him as, like everyone else here says) it could happen to anyone0 -

Too right mate. Glad to hear he is an Ex Friend..0 -
Hi
We went BR recently and all of the creditors have ceased their onslaught but we have found a new wave of solicitors letters hitting the mat. They have read our details in the London Gazette, and now offering their services (for a fee of course).
Seems a bit odd, as if we have the funds left for coffee and danish never mide sol fees, and I'm not even sure what it is they are offering to do!
Has anyone else had this, It just cringes me out that there are people still trying to vulture money out off us now we have hit bottom and are aiming our selves back up.0
