Glad the court day is over now and it wasnt as bad as you expected.

Try not to worry over the OR interview, although easier said than done obviously!! You will be fine, I was a nervous wreck before ours but looking back it wasnt half as bad as I thought it would be. :)

  • The OR office rang me yeat to book and appt, its next fri @ 1pm, I will be at work but I can book a meeting room so I can chat freely with out anyone hearing, I am nervous about it but also glad it will mean another step over with, what I'm worried about is that my interview is on the fri and on the sun my parents are taking me and my daughter on holiday (early xmas present and clebrating another step towards our future) I know this sounds really bad as having just gone BR and going on holiday, but I can assure you I haven't paid for any of it and If I didn't go I would have to pay extra for childcare costs as my parrent look after her 2 1/2 days a week, do you think I should tell the OR I am going on holiday incase she request lots of extra paper work and I won't be able to get it to her quickly?

    Hey 1worried1.

I can only speak from my experience but the OR was quite flexible about the paperwork. They sent me a couple of straightforward forms to fill in and sign before the meeting. I think I had 10 days between my quick call and the proper one. He said if I wasn't able to get the papers to him before the meeting it wouldn't be the end of the world.

I must admit I got them all together and ran them over to their office. For me I just wanted it all over ASAP and there was something quite liberating about getting rid of all of it :rotfl:

As for the holiday, I wouldn't worry about it too much. It sounds like a lovely idea especially as you're not having to pay for it. I guess at the end of your call you could ask what the next steps are and if necessary just say you're not avilable for the next few days.

    Anyhow, good luck!
  • Hiya andyf1980,
    thanks for you reply.
just a quick question on the paperwork, did you photocpoy everything before sending to OR? or just sent all originals? just think what if it gets lost in post!
    Thanks
  • Hey,

I didn't photocopy all of the statements etc. because I physically took it to the OR's office. One of the forms is a log of exactly what you are sending. They gave me a 2nd class pre paid sticker but I figured it would be a pain to box it all up - there was a lot of statements :(

If you can't drop it in to them and you are worried about it,it might be worth sending it signed for. :o
