Barclays will usually allow a basic account AFTER you declare bankruptcy...even if they've been a creditor

if the co-op were a creditor you included in bankruptcy they'll probably decline you sorry..

Ok I only have 47 hours til my court appt, and am a nervous wreck, even tho I have read hundreds of posts on this forum about everyone feeling the same before their big day but it turning out to be no where near as bad as they imagined, I can't help feeling mine night be different (thats also what most of the posts I've read say!)

Totally agree with what Phil says, it is nearly 12 months since I went BR and I had the same feelings as yourself, but it honestly is no where as bad as you think it will be. Good luck although you will not need it.

I had been inclined to believe the same from what I've read on here, but when I went into Barclays branch the staff told me that the only rejections they had seen were when people had debt with them. I'm giving it a go anyway and thought I may as well try Co-Op as a back up, but I am expecting them to reject me.

I am post BR, so still hoping one of them will have me!

no worries ask away....and remember the court clerk will go through your forms with you as well so if they spot something you missed they'll sort easily for you
