You don't need to publicise your reg to get cloned, infact it has been used as a successful defence I understand, ie, my car was up for sale at the time, someone must have copied the details??

Of course you don't need to publicize your details to be cloned - it's happened to me - the plates were stolen from my car and then put on another one which went for a tank of petrol then drove off.

I'm simply saying you don't need to give any crooks an easy method of getting your plate.

I think we are in agreement here but knowing/seeing/accesing a plate is not the same as knicking it off a car ??? yeah, but inspite of all the pathetic effort the gov has put into "official/legal" plates you can go to any autojumble/carshow and have what you want made up.

The question is,does this look like a reasonable alternative?

Further more,is it worth the money?
