On what grounds? This was what i was saying way back in my diary. Did i in effect take early retirement, by going permanently on esa? but i'd just been for the 3 month assesment, and truthfully, how long can you stay off work with stress? Anyway, i'd much rather work and maintain my place in soceity. Does'nt that sound mad?.............. appealing though the thought of sitting at home all day watching telly, is.

Yeeees i know, you don't have to sit at home all day watching tv. I could study, volunteer, and all the rest of it.

I'm just trying to get myself back on my feet, you know? What used to be quite a highly paid job, has hit the doldrums.

I would rather work, if I won the lottery, but I would probably volunteer then.

However, not playing the lottery is a big disadvantage to winning!

It is not mad to want to work, it is about pride. About self worth, feeling that you are achieving something.

Ok, have you looked at mystery shopping and surveys to supplement your income?

and if earlier you were talking about applying early for HB, it is worth going to the office and talking to a human being that understands what you are saying. if you can't provide P60s, give the number and address of those employers, and ask them to call to verify details.

have you tried looking at the Mystery Shopping thread supermum? You can usually work for a company where you can fit it around children, or school, etc.

    I rest my case

However, theres got to be something wrong when you've only got £1.11 for the weekly shop.

Its all got to come good in the end. the work is starting to come in, which does nothing to help my predicament this week, in fact makes it worse, because as ever, i've got the outlay to get to work, in the first place.

Target for march - to have enough spare cash to bring my ni conts up to date, before the end of the month, ( somewhere probably around the £300 mark )

Wait for the p60's to roll in, then DEMAND wtc

I hope you're not working tomorrow, sorry today, Aesop. I am

But thanks for your help. Its good to know someone understands these things are'nt straightforward in all cases.
