Having done years of working very long days I am determined to work closer to home just so I can get a dog. For the companionship and the exercise. This is such a long held dream and will be the first time I have had a pet in over 30 years.

My sister has had a dog for years and has always been very lucky with friends and family helping out when she was away. I have loved having her to stay, sometimes for weeks at a time, and have really missed her when my sister gets home.

I have found it quite easy to train people, I want to make sure they do as good a job as we have done, and it isn't their fault they are in this position. I really must be mad

My OH is self employed (we don't live together and are financially independent) and he seems to make a decent living so I know it can be done. Just don't think it is for me :(

    Hi Nohope

what type of work do you do? You have mentioned visitors (?) and that you work long hours and away sometimes, that you travel in your job.

    Coach driver?

Hi Aesop, how are you doing? have you found your ring yet? I will try and find the photo, ( i have'nt forgotten), A big hug from me xx

Thats an interesting equation, Yes, as i've said several times before, i am a ' trained ' musician, although its not my profession. I am indeed, self employed, but no, i'm not a coach driver, although i did apply to train for a coach driver/ bus driver, quite recently, in my vain attempt to get myself a ' proper ' job. Unfortunately, i was rejected, although somehow i don't think my driving skills would have been appreciated by passengers on a bus or coach :rotfl::rotfl:

Anyone who has been in a car with me, always says, never again. :rotfl::rotfl:
