Third in the queue for chicken dinner :D

That's your guests. you can get that TV now Ani but you've got to barter for it MSE style :D (I got £70 off mine when I got mine)

Off to volunteering. What's this about DLA being reassesed and also like ESA? I've yet to go on ESA and DLA? Don't think *worry* about that. God will take care of all my need...

Did you get the extra IS top up on top of your ESA I mentioned? you should be on about £150 a week plus DLA I reckon depending on rate of DLA. You should have applied or they should have done it auto...a severe disability premium :)

Anyhow recovering from my bad few days so like have to go to volunteering now for a wee while...

    Have a good day Ani....

Anyone coming for tea? Chicken stew. Only 3 guests, mind.........:rotfl:

Darn it, did I miss the stew? any left?

Wardrobe sounds perfect. I know what you mean about the money seeming a bit unreal but it must be a weight off at least x

Quite right not scrimping on the matress - have you found the one you would like yet?

Out buying plants again? 'Red hot pokers' ? Is that a plant or something to skewer the SC with? :rotfl:

Careful with the new glasses, perhaps plastic beakers could be an idea? :p Actually I could do with some of those, I can be a bit heavy handed in the kitchen at times.

Yep, you all missed the stew, but a second is to be slow cookered, as i still have some carrots and leeks, and i bought some more potatoes and mushies for 10p and a further chicken for £3, ( offer finishes today.)

So far, i haven't spent any more large amounts of money, except for the car insurance, the breakdown insurance and the tv licence. That's a huge chunk of money gone already. It has proven difficult to find cheap breakdown insurance, despite price comparison sites. None of this matters if you drive an older car, as they are several times more likely to break down, and the premium reflects this. I just have the most basic cover at the moment for £34.99, but it isn't adequate enough, and i may upgrade it, at some point. Car insurance is finally sorted, ( i hope,) as i received my no claims letter yesterday, which has duly been sent off. It seems to have been two days of sorting paperwork, in fact a whole week sorting paperwork, yet again. My benefits have been changed, ( yet again,) and will continue to do so, throughout september, sigh.

I debated an eternity, whether to pay the tv licence upfront, but i object to the alternative of paying them six months in advance, ( even though i've paid 12 months in advance,) :rotfl:Paying monthly means i am paying 2 years in advance, and me, two years? So instead, i paid the licence fee, and i will put aside the £12.12, ( not save,) for the next tv licence, if possible.

I've also received 7 letters, ( yes, seven,) from my energy supplier, ( 5 of them on the same day.) Never mind, they seem to be doing everything possible, to help me. I now have a cheaper tariff, ( 3.81 per kwh,) which i think i've already hit,) which is less than the 4. whatever it was for the leccie at the previous place. I am also going to be one of the first? :rotfl:to receive an energy monitor, and i will receive a minimum warm discount voucher and also, hopefully, a heating rebate of £130. Maybe i will be able to worry a little less about being so cold, and to put the heating on, instead? I hope so. They've been very helpful, so thanks to them.

I'm also up to date in replying to all my benefits letters, and i have used some of the money to pay for a disabled railcard. Yes. You have to pay, and you also have to pay for your rail journeys, but at least you get a discount. I think i've explored every avenue now, in terms of what i'm entitled to.Will there ever be a time when i can sit back and do, nothing? I doubt it. I'm at the point where i should indeed be enlisting help for some of my care needs, and will use the money for this accordingly. I don't know where to go for help as the vb always has months of waiting lists. I need to find somewhere i can obtain personal help.

I started tidying my paperwork, yesterday, as i purchased an additional 20 files for £1. Not bad, eh? I'm going to use them all. Months and months of letters, appeals, photocopies, more letters, photocopies, and it all needs to be filed, so i can put my hand on things, straight away. :o

I didn't buy the wardrobe as the shop was shut for bank holiday. I forgot it's bank holiday, in the outside world, so i will purchase this, next week. Mattresses are another matter, the ones i've looked at so far, are hundreds of pounds. I'll have to compromise, somewhere along the way?

That's about it, so far. It seems to take me so long to do things i used to take for granted, and which " normal " people take for granted. I haven't done anymore with regard to the kitchen, although i've vaguely looked at cookers. I'm definitely getting panic attacks about having the kitchen cleared on time, but i don't know where to find help. :o

Today, i will have a day out of life, and may finish my book?

Yes, everyone has a similar scheme, but unfortunately it's much more stringent in this area, and you have to be unable to crawl around on all fours, ( literally.) I would have qualified in some other areas. :o

You can be in the queue to read, but unfortunately i'm not writing the book, i'm reading it, and it has to be returned to the library, ( far cheaper than kindles.) :rotfl:

I did indeed, have a luverly sunday, a treat, for a change. I feel guilty with treats which other people take very much for granted? and ability to function? I spent the massive amount of £10, which bought me f & c, a beer, and a ginger and dark chocolate ice cream. On the plus side, that's all i spent, and it took me all day to partake of all three. :D

I didn't read any of my book, :o however i did a small amount of socialising, which on balance, i considered to be more important? Shocking, my way of thinking?

Back to reality, and i HAVE to continue emptying the kitchen, since i'm unlikey to find anyone to help me, in time. I've also forgotten another letter to the is, i must send them proof of all the payments, although they did say there wouldn't be a problem. Whatever will be, will be.
