So I go away for a few days and it's all action on here :) Glad your money finally came through Ani, such a long fight for it.

It's kind of like it didn't happen already, it's still so unreal? All those months i lived from rent to council tax bill which i shouldn't have been paying, with no money for anything else, ( not forgetting i had virtually no income, for several months.)

I wish I had a 10p shop like yours near me, it sounds fab (most I seem to find is a 30p loaf of bread up ours) dinner sounds lovely, oddly I do a roast chicken as a treat for us sometimes - enjoy.
Yesterday i bought a bag of six big tomaotes for 10p, 2 pints of milk, for 10p and a melon for 50p. :) ( splashed out on the melon.) :rotfl:

Not sure if there's any kind of butchers near you, but I had pork cheeks while I was away, and if you can get them cheap I recommend them slow cooked - more like lamb in consistency and quite a lamby taste too, deff wouldn't have thought it was pork if i didn't know (hmmm, perhaps they just served us lamb stew? :rotfl:)
Sounds good, will try, thanks. x
Take care of yourself, we don't want any more lumps knocked out of you.

Wardrobes, round here the old wooden ones go for a song like a tender in second hand shops, gum tree and free cycle. We have a canvas one at the moment, but got my eye out for a double door wooden old style wardrobe

Please don't feel ad about spending the money you deserve on the things you need and want.. A good mattress is a priority, as is a car xxxxx

A good mattress is something i won't scrimp on, as i want, oooops, need, an orthopaedic mattress. Expecting to spend around £100 on one of these?

The stuffing - you can bake it but if you make it up with boiling water you get a non-crispy version, which is quite safe to eat and surprisingly nice too. JMO. :).

    Thanks for that. :)

Well I can't buy everything at once? :rotfl:Today, i shall purchase my wardrobe. It's quite good, as it's a walk in type wardrobe and has extra storage space and fits almost perfectly / makes good use of my alcove. Got to make the best use of space, in small properties. :D

Yesterday, i pushed the boat out and bought some petrol. It's a long time since i bought a large amount of petrol. £40's worth  but it seemed prudent since petrol prices are rocketing again? I saw fuel for 144.9 per litre, but managed to purchase mine for 133.9 per litre, so i'm relatively happy with that, ( not.) I also splurged out on some plants, ( oh dear.) I don't know how much i've spent yet, as the owner wasn't there, so i will pay for those tomorrow, ( around £10.) I bought another delphinium to replace the ones which were devoured many months ago, some red hot pokers, and some snap dragons, ( i think.) I also saw some lily of the valley bulbs, after all this time, but i didn't purchase those, as i wasn't sure what to do with them? :rotfl:I also bought some lawn feed, weed killer, a new cutlery set for my new kitchen, as my cutlery has started falling to bits, ( only £6,) four new glasses for £!, ( as i keep dropping all mine and smashing them,) :o All in all, i spent around £70, yesterday. Oh dear. But my new cutlery is cool. A bit extravagant yesterday? but never mind. I'm supposed to spend it on things i need? Today, a wardrobe.

    You're learning. :D

Still got some Lilies of the Valley here with your name on - but they are a bit weedy so if you see some good ones they might be an investment. :)
