So pleased for you, and as Ani is so connected to your well being, giving her loads of love and attention is surely the right way to go, Ani's fortunes are on the up so yours must be too xx.

I truly hope this is the turning point you deserve to have.
Best of luck.

Thanks xx
You're all going to have me crying in a bit, as realisation starts to dawn? It IS a real turning point, for now, at least, although i'm still insolvent, and i have to justify how i spend taxpayers money? ( of which i am one.) I must remember to thank mp's office, as i'm sure it has made a huge difference. It's sad that so many real people end up in such situations, although of course ultimately, i only have myself to blame.
I still have health issues, which are always put on the back burner. I've been to the dr's today, and i'm being referred to a consultant. There's still all that to go through? There's still many challenges to face.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Tomorrow is another day? when i do have some money in my pocket, and believe me, that money will be spent incredibly wisely. If you like cars, that is? Road tax due september,( i'm counting down the years,) essential bodywork repairs on an otherwise mot fail, and before you know where you are, a large proportion will be spent on ani. It's still a bone of contention, with even my conscience, being able to afford to run a car. However, it's always been the case, in my mind, that once ani has gone, to some extent, so am i. Aside from which, it's horrendously expensive to run a car, nowadays. And nothing could ever replace ani, to me. Except maybe that trimph herald vitesse, i saw the other day? What a beaut. Wow.
When you get your DLA go for the vitesse - sweet car!
So, yes. Older cars need maintenance and parts replacing, but i was watching the vw ads and thinking, how much does the cheapest new car cost to purchase these days? 7k? I'll never have that sort of money, and if i did, i wouldn't buy a brand new car with it. I've never owned a brand new car in my life....Just think of all that money it's depreciated, the minute you drive it out of the showroom.
Never EVER buy a new car... its madness
I'm off on a bit of a rant there. Maybe i'm trying to justify to everyone, including myself, spending a whole lot of money on a heap of metal. But that heap of metal, will infinitely enhance my life, for now, and i shouldn't care what anyone thinks, including myself?
Your car is essential for your life, it is so important to you , more important than food or heat or anything... IT IS NOT AN INDULGENCE. some of the reason you are in the support group is because you NEED a car to get about. Now get in ANi and come to Edinburgh so we can admire her.....

Does it get reassessed in November? Or was it April? I seem to have both in my head for some reason.
BTW - three hours in the garden and full green bin is not insignificant.Lots of work in there... it just might not feel like it when you see how much else is growing.
Triumphs - we've had a couple of those, though not Vitesses - happy memories!Miggy

My sleep patterns are severely disrupted at the moment. I sleep all evening, i'm awake in the early hours of the morning, and then i slept until 8.30, this morning, and it's midday, before i get going, and the paranoia surrounding my kitchen is setting in. Apparently, i now have to have visits from plasterers, glass makers, electricians, plumbers. I hope they don't all want a brew? It's proving to be so stressful i'm questioning my ability to cope with it all, too? This place is now such a mess, and i'm even more stressed. If i were to look ahead, i'd say it will be xmas, ( if i'm lucky,) before this place will ever be sorted? That's almost a year since i moved in here.
Despite my ocd over a heap of metal, the new bus timetable has been published, and the service has been reduced even further. Bright spark advisor advising me to catch the bus? What bus? There are now only 3 or 4 buses a day, the last one out of here at 13.00. A M A Z I N G . The last one back at 17.00. I won't be able to get to any of my activities. Now if you were to get a job locally, how would you get there? The trains don't do local. I need to be on the local council and lobbying for public transport. One day. How do young people get around? I suppose their parents all drive 4 x 4's. I will definitely keep ani on the road for as long as is humanly possible, because after ani goes, i can't be arised with another car. And by that time, i'll be in a box.
Right, off to do some more packing of the kitchen. No chance to garden. I have some stew, slow cookering, as i got some more 10p delights, this morning. A bag of leeks, another bag of mushies, a bag of potatoes, and a bag of little gem lettuce. Spend today, 40p. Income. Alot. None of it spent. That's car tax money and bills, next month, Maybe a cheap wardrobe, on friday? it will be good to have a wardrobe, again? It's payday everyday this week. Why don't i feel elated? Still, i'm thankful i can now pay my bills.
Oh, i forgot rd, i saw a mini convention of triumph stags, this morning. That's the second time i've seen them, recently. Made my day, that did. Triumphs are out in full force / glory, at the moment.
Off to declutter the kitchen, sigh....................Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

That's because esa starts being reassessed in november, and dla in april. Not too far off the mark, there.Triumphs - we've had a couple of those, though not Vitesses - happy memories!
