Okay, i'm off to pay my rent :o and then start making the endless phone calls along the route to tax rebates. I also have a feeling i had an appointment today, but i still can't remember, and i can't remember what time my appointments are tomorrow, ( although i know i have them,) so more phone calls to be made. :o Sigh

Sorry I wasn't online earlier - had a bit of a fight with the computer and much to my surprise it has started to behave again. Like kids really - they go on saying 'won't' but so long as they do what they're told I don't worry about what they're saying too much.

Another day in Paradise? I hope the phone calls are progressing Ani. And that you get the replacement bathroom though I suppose that may take longer. I agree it's quite likely the work on the roof caused the crack: very likely given the timing so complaining sooner rather than later is probably the best thing. After all, they broke it. ;)

And a shiny new state-of-the-art bathroom would be soooo nice. :)

Great that the roof is done anyway, and the guttering. :)

Probably you noticed because you are used to taking responsibility for a house and many people might either not have the knowledge or assume it's someone else's responsibility. Anyway it will pay the HA in the longer term as the house will be well looked after.

The rain is holding off here though threatening so I shall try to get some of the garden done. Besides the green bin has been emptied so I have no excuse.

Flax, good to have you back hun, was wondering where you were especially as things weren't good last time you were here. I hope you can get out and find someone to talk to soon. {{hugs}}.

HI, so there is someone else here who might know what I mean if I refer to 'the spahts'?! (Not sure my accent is quite right but my Dad worked in Bolton most of his life).

One step at a time, people... if that's all we can do it's still progress. Sometimes I have to talk aloud to get me to the next step. :o But if it helps, I that's what I do (and hope no one's listening!)

I'm listening... not sure if that counts? :D

Mondays, who wants 'em? Especially grey ones. Offices too busy to return phone calls especially ones we want out of the way... even the computers let us down (fought mine this morning).

Anyone got any gardening done? I haven't but I am determined to do some before the afternoon's through. It needs it.

Time out for a cuppa is a great idea HI. :)
