Flippin eck. That's another morning passed me by. It's now afternoon.
What is Time? What does Time matter, anyway?
All morning to come round, find pin number for phlebs account, which of course, i found in front of my nose, again. Doesn't make much difference. There's nothing in the account, but at least i've changed the number to one i can remember? so at least i don't have to go through this again?
Last of the bills paid for this week, the water rates. That's me done, then. At least i have some food. And a slow cookerPasta next, methinks
Ooooo mushrooms
Still can't decide what to do with the rest of the day. Maybe i should do

P.S. One of the great things about this forum is the ability to stay on topic and the ability to thank useful posts. So glad those things never get misused.Miggy

Maybe i should rename this diary the Life after bankruptcy, life before dro thread?
Maybe it's burying head in the sand time, but i prefer not to contemplate my debt, as it is going to take me a very long time to repay, on current income. This is survival at it's most basic, on benefits, despite what anyone says. It's all propaganda, the theories of how much money is provided by the benefits system? It only makes me stressed, thinking about it.
As i write this, there is yet more " stuff " on the tv. People having to come out of work because they can't afford to work. It is affecting so many people. Ha. The benefits system is so complicated and archaic. You can say that again.

Miggy, kettle's full
Looks like i have the incentive to do some gardening, today. I will try and make an earlier start, ( like now.)
Mint has shed most leaves, but still looks as though it's thriving. I'm sure it will recover. Lemon balm is still being attacked by slimey critters and hasn't grown, nor has it died, so it's looking hopeful. I shall take my sunflower plant back to the shop and demand a refund, ( that's right, be assertive.)
Received a couple of good news letters, ( for a change.) Maybe it's because i'm no longer " short term " sick? Got two appointments, one i'm not sure what it's about and neither are they, i don't think. A progamme of help? About time, too. The other, something is finally being done about my health, exercise and fitness wise, ( i seriously need this.) A 12 week progamme, i think it's £1 a week. I'll just have to find the money from somewhere.
Lets hope the finances start to improve. I'm coming to realise the benefits system is only geared toward those on long term sick? ie over 3 months at least? I suppose it's expected you will have savings, income from work or whatever to tide you through a rough patch?Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Will go and sort the kettle. Want a cuppa while I'm there?
Lovely to hear there are a couple of positive letters. Are you sure they were addressed to you?Miggy
