I like the idea of New Zealand. Mentioned to DH about moving there, big fat no.
so, I shall reply and say we want to go to New Zealand, hurry up and transfer the money!
as for the job, did they say they would call tonight? maybe busy and you will get a call tomorrow.
I worked from home last week and today had to put in my timesheet to get paid next week. So I claimed my usual 3 days. My Manager asked if I wanted to claim a better rate for having to work from home, using internet, etc. I said no, it's ok. I have been paid that is enough for me, at least I can pay my bills next week. She said are you sure ?I said no, leave it. I know what the answer will be, no extra money but I will pay for her calls, well I used free minutes on my mobile. internet? how do I quantify it? It's ok, I know how much I will receive next week, will try to budget on it, that will do.
yeah, I'll have your injection. I need to learn to use an epi-pen so better get used to big needles!
Excellento, on both counts. We're off to NZ:D and you're going to have my injection. If you hear a scream resounding through the uk on friday morning, then you'll know its me :rotfl:

Ha,that got me thinking.
Is'nt the Times a comparitively new, newspaper, ( compared to the others)?
The Times as we have it now (News International publication) is fairly new but according to Wikipedia it began in 1795.Miggy

Pensions, politics, chips and spam... I miss such a lot when I'm away for a few hours!
I daren't reply to the lot - you know I would never get any sleep tonight. Ani good luck with the job app - it's always worth pushing a few doors though I see you in a driving job maybe? Or, as you say, something where you can turn on the smile.
I hope you are all going to send me a postcard from this holiday of yours?!Miggy

Still very much with the subject of pensions on my mind today, with all the hoohah of the teachers. Some people don't know when they are well off, or appreciate it, even. Or maybe take it for granted.
Anyway, still trying to decide how to make the best use of my own paltry pension ( or not ), i was reading all these newspaperxs i have, which i have'nt had time to read, and came across a supplement for a sale of holiday homes, caravans, etc. Now theres a thought. I could just about afford a second hand caravan, or maybe even a camper van, ( i don't know about the cost of these ), if i cashed in the 25% from my pension fund. Maybe you think its a mad idea, but i have quite a nomadic spirit. Now i don't have a home, i'm never going to have a home again, realisticaly. I suppose i've come to terms with my lot, so to speak. Even though i've been here 8 months now, ( gosh, is it that long )? its still only somewhere where i sleep, a base, if you like. I don't feel any personal attachment, my bedroom to all intents and purposes is a hotel bedroom, somewhere to temporarily sleep. I have a few items of my more ' precious ' furnriture, but even that could be dispensed with. Everything is dispensable. Sometimes people worry about the simplest, most stupid of things. Which in turn, makes me realise how strong i must be to have survived. Maybe my emotions are in denial, maybe my barriers are the strength of colditz. Maybe the only person who will suffer detrimentaly is me. One of my favourite songs of all times is one man band. I can still remember the words, to this day. Maybe i've always thought of myself as a one man band.Maybe it was foresight. Some one said recently, other people can't be open about themselves. I've always been open about my feelings. I would be open to people in the ' real ' world, but they simply can't cope with or understand openesss and honesty of feelings. Everyone has a pretence to uphold. They are happy at work. They are happy with their appearance. They are happy with their job. They are happy they are popular. They are happy in their relationship. I've gone off at a tangent, there.
Hmmm, the day we sang opens next week. I would like to go and see this, but sadly theres no spare cash, as ever.
Back to the question of caravans. If i bought a caravan, i would never have to find rent again? or worry about where i'm going to live. Huge financial problem solved, although it would be quite expensive in calor gas usage. I get to live at the seaside. I get to downsize even more :rotfl:I really will, have nothing left. The downside is you can usually only live in a holiday home for 10 months, ( or something like ), of the year. So i'd have to find alternative accomodation for a few weeks of the year. But at least i still have the ability to look outside the box, which makes me the person i am. Most people would look down their noses at me, and say, you can't do that. Narrowmindedness, is not an attractive feature.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Hello, just been trying to catch up with your diary.
You're not the only one considering a caravan. Some sites let you live there all year round.
Hope you hear about the job soon.0 -
