I suppose the good thing is, i only have myself to consider, so it does'nt matter if i'm late back from work, what i wear, if i go, what time i go, etc, etc :rotfl: But at least i don't have any qualms about going anywhere on my own They are a very good tribute band, so i'm going to make the effort to go, if i don't forget.

So thats what its like to have a frivolous afternoon off work, albeit on tinternet. I suppose lots of people have frivolous afternoons off, on the tinternet, courtesy of work. I know i'm going to regret this, shortly, but never mind. I'm still tired, so i think i'll have an early night, especially since i've an early start tomorrow. But i still like the variation this job, affords me.


I wish i'd known i was going to have a day off, when i got up this morning, because then i'd have had the pleasure of thinking, ah, a day off. Never mind. What have i done today, sweet fa. Well, not quite, banked THE cheque, the first of many, i hope. Got application form for passport, i should complete this while i've time, got prison id, sorry pasport photis, are they ever, nice? miggy Hmm, thats about it.

Am i really like two different people? The person that spends most of their life worrying about how they are going to pay the next bill, and the person that heaves a sigh of relief when they've got enough money to pay the rent. I'm sure most people end up paying more in rent, than they would be doing, paying a mortgage, and its dead money, unfortunately. But theres little i can do about that, at this stage in my life.

A few strangers have paid me compliments recently. You're a character ,( what, i have'nt even opened my mouth, yet) ? You've got a lovely smile, ( what, i don't have anything to smile about)? I love your hair, ( what, i don't have any hair) ? you're so slim, ( what, you need glasses )? you're this, you're that, compliments from nowhere, that i reject, don't really take on board, because i lost myself, my very being, in all of this. Which brings to mind one of the few photos i have of myself, looking the happiest i've ever been, not so long ago. Well. Maybe it was an eternity ago. But these days my whole being, personality, is mirrored by the state of my bank account. Maybe i had it all. Is that what makes someone self destruct? the only state of being that anyone ever aspires to achieve is contentment, or maybe inner peace. But i wonder how many people can ever say they have achieved this constant state?


For now, its beans on toast for tea, although theres a massive difference between choosing or wanting to eat them and having to eat them.

TBH I think a lot of people (including me) have money or the lack of it on their mind a lot of the time if not most of the time or all of the time.Hey ho.
