And coffee - don't forget the coffee! (Or in your case, the Earl Grey).

We know that, hun (hugs). I see such a different Ani depending whether or not you've been paid.

Couldn't you all band together and refuse to work for them till they pull their socks up?

Yay! And about time too, but I'm so pleased you have it.

What did you do in the end? I've just been to the dentist: thorough examination, discussion and four Xrays don't come cheap but on the other hand he's happy for me to go a year before the next appointment. Turns out my particular niggles were probably in the gum etc. You don't want to hear details. :D

There's a time and place for everything. Loving others as yourself has to involve loving self. It's also important to remember the advice they give on aircraft: if you have to put on emergency equipment (oxygen mask thing), do your own before you help anyone else. That requires a certain amount of enforced detachment but it makes very good sense - end of sermon.

That sounds as though your savings were mounting up well - and even though you had to spend them, you had them to spend. How is the NI doing?

Aaaaaaww miggy. You know i have'nt learnt how to multi quote, yet :p

I've spent too long in town this morning. Cheque now deposited in bank account, so i can now sit and look at the funds, ( thats all i can do ) :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm very resentful they sent a cheque. To me, its just a ploy to gain another one and a half weeks to keep the money in their account and not yours. C'est la vie.I would'nt have spent a weekend trying to ignore the fact my bills were due, and that this time, i really did'nt care about how i was going to pay them. I've really reached the end of the road as far as being a juggler, is concerned. I don't want to be a juggler, either. I'm always dropping things.

I'm off on one. I was going to say, i have'nt cancelled the dentist, ( although i'm still not sure how i'm going to pay for it ). I have some money, but ani needs feeding, and whilst the cost of petrol seems to be on a downward trend around here...........

Also collected a new form for my passport which expires this week. I've checked and its now a requirement for employment for most companies, so thats at the bottom of the list of things which need paying this week, list. Had to get some photo's, too. Another fiver. Everything costs

Ni will be paid as soon as cheque clears. Then appointment made at benefits office. Top priority. I read at the weekend, its a criminal offence, not to pay your ni. Well, its not exactly been my fault, and it is'nt that it has'nt been on my mind. Still - i have been in constant touch about it.

Its all spent before its cleared, is'nt it? as ever :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

BUT - if theres a spare tenner left at the end of it, i might treat myself at the weekend. Theres a Pink Flloyd tribute band on. I've not been for so long, and they're not half bad. Just so long as they don't play shine on you crazy diamon*. I've listened to that so often.

I might just go along, if i get home from work, in time.

Must do some work. I'll work out how to reply to multiquotes, later. Much, much later :rotfl:

I'm inclined to agree with you. Grrr.

Yes, it looks as though the money's not going to sit about long but the tribute band sounds great. Hope you can get to go. Hope your passport photos are nice, ha ha. ;) Hope the sun comes out again and the house martins get their mud... well at least there's one of those I can do something about. :D

And as to the deodorant, yes, I would. :D But I'd rather know and get it over with... I think. :rotfl:

sorry in bad mood today, tired, fed up and much in the same boat as you.

forgotten what I was saying Manager came in the office.

We played a practical joke on a colleague this morning and he took it so well, we all had a much needed laugh and it felt good. It was a real belly laugh too.

    ah yes, just remembered.

Ani, any tescos near you? You need to go wombling for Tesco receipts for 5p off petrol when you have spent £50 in store. People are getting the vouchers and then throwing them on the floor, leaving in trolleys, etc, as probably like me, don't own/can't afford a car and have no use for it or just general laziness.

So if you can find any of these, that will help with the petrol.

wombling - finding discarded receipts and taking them for yourself - recycling like the wombles of Wimbledon Green used to do ;)

Yep i've done that too. Found a receipt for £150 at Morries on sat evening. Who spends £150 on food? How on earth can you eat £150's worth of food? I did'nt know the offer had finished at morries..........

Ah well got a cooked chcken again reduced to £2 this time. Thats two weekends i've had a proper meal.

Tatco is a bit far away for me, plus their petrol is always 5p more expensive in the first place, than morries anyway, plus its against my policy to shop there, plus i tend to stick to two brands of fuel i put in my car. Yes i know i can't afford to be picky, but i never use tatco fuel. I collect my points at S***ll or morries, so its surprising how quickly you can amass £5 if your're buying alot of fuel. They are always cheaper in the first place.

Someone is going to come along now, i'm sure and tell me tatco's comes from the same source as S****, but i doubt it. I know where i get better perfomance and economy, but if i've time on friday, i'll call in and have a womble, ( depending on what price they are charging ). Its down to 134.9 at morries at the moment, plus my points.
