The lurgy just seems to keep recycling itself, on this thread
Keep it to yourself, please, folks :rotfl:
Don't feel too bad this morning, but i'm on a late, and i'm sure it will get to me again, by the end of the day. The working environment does'nt help, but nearly finished now, and on with something else, soon.
Went straight to bed, i felt that ill, and decided it was'nt a good time to email, so off to do it now. Not going to be anything posh or formal. Just a simple email, for now. Let my experience do the talking, ( i hope ). Arrogant arian, huh? :rotfl:Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Well, i received a very prompt reply, saying thanks but no thanks. It just goes to show, even with experience, to some extent, life is often the case of who you know, not what you know. The old scenerio, too of several people saying do this, this will definitely happen, not neccessarily the best informed, themselves.
However i have an address to apply to for a training course, which i will do, in the easter hols. But whats the betting a training course costs thousands of punds of your own money, i don't have. I was thinking about when i have a day off, yesterday, and then the realisation its easter soon, had fallen from mind, so thank god, i might have a few days off. I'm ready for it, i need time to recuperate, and as much as i fancy going out somewhere for the day, i know realistically, i can't afford it, plus i don't like going out on a day when everyone else is doing the same thing, just because the calendar states they should. Besides i have'nt done anything here since the punishing work schedule, need to be domestic, urgh, fun, not.
Sorry if its obvious my mood is in a downward spiral today. Just back on the barrel of worrying about whats happened to my pay. I'll feel much more at ease, when i know i've got next months rent, as most of my pay arrives in the second week of the month. Best not pay my ni just yet. Back to not spending money again. Mind you, everyday is still a nsd.
Right, got to plan how i'm getting to work tomorrow, and get ready for work, today. Aaargh, i have'nt got a clueDebt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

Shame about the 'no thanks' Ani. Some people don't know a good thing when they see one.
Did you get to work all right?Miggy

Hi Ani, sorry to hear that the travel prospect didn't work out as hoped, fingers crossed that something else comes along - my FIL always says 'what's for you will'na go by you' , let's hope so in your case.
Hope you got to work ok, and you at least had some good news about your pay (I haven't quite got through your diary yet so not sure if you've told us what it is you do - but I'm guessing that you prob haven't in your secret squirrel ways) Glad to hear you have a little time off over easter, hopefully you can use the time to rest and if it's nice, why not go out for a walk if YOU feel like it, not cos everyone else is out and about. I remember reading at the start of your diary about going for a walk around your 'old' house and kinda regretting not having done it more. Sometimes it's easy to forget to appreciate what we do have...even if it doesn't seem much at the time. Goodness, I'm maudly tonight...and I came on to be cheery - sorry about that
Perhaps you could take some time over easter to look into the job/travel thing again - if this company isn't interested atm, are there any others that might be?

Yes thanks, change of plans for tomorrow, although at least i'll have a shorter day. I need it. I'm working right up until easter now, and i'm desperate for a day off, to recharge my batteries. Working on my birthday, too. I've almost forgotten about it, but then, its no different to any other day.
I'll enquire about the training course at easter, and i do have one or two more ideas to follow, but i still don't feel able to move forward with new ideas, until i'm more financially stable, ( i.e. i have a surplus in my bank account).Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

You made me laugh, ' secret squirrel ways '. That would make a good user name, too. Secret Squirrel :rotfl::rotfl:
Yes, i think the best plan for easter, is no plan. I don't like to have plans, and prefer to be spontaneous.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?

This was supposed to be a quick visit, as 'im ready for my bed, yet again. Looks like i'm going to have that visit to the seaside, sooner than i thought. Some work, involving an overnight stay, a few hours off, each afternoon, means i can finally have a stroll along the prom, and a food allowance, means i can finally have the fish and chips, i've been craving.
Only problem is,it all takes funding up front, from my money, b and b, meals, and petrol, means close to £100 and i'll have to wait for how long? to be reimbursed. I'm being to regret getting my fiddle back, now. I've made a huge mistake, as i'll have to revisit the pawn shop, and take it back, at this rate. The last thing i want to do. I want my belongings, back. This is'nt the plan, to live like this forever. All i can do, is hope some more money hits my account, tomorrow or friday.
I had a dream last night. It woke me up, with its intensity, and its stayed with me all day. I watched a ship sinking, and as i stood and watched, i was there with such intensity, reality. I can still feel it, now.Debt free - Is it a state of mind? a state of the Universe? or a state of the bank account?
