I thought that too Lou, I don't think such a negative character is good for children.

I have seen my ex and even if I hadn't have said my concerns about the surety (or lack of in my opinion) money side he wouldn't have accepted. Because he doesn't have a permanent job, he doesn't want to tie himself to a particular part of the county. There have been teaching jobs in North Dorset and just into Wiltshire which are a good hour each way and he hasn't gone for them because of the drive on rubbish single lane Dorset roads all the way from Poole.
He is going to go for a 6 or 12 month let somewhere and see where he is employment wise then. I hadn't thought of this scenario and I'm really pleased he is thinking like this as he isn't the most positive thinking person in the world. I feel quite vindicated that I can give this as a reason to OH. There's no way he can talk him round by banging on the door as his reason for not wanting somewhere long term is a sensible one (I feel).
and as if by magic....here is OH......see you all tomorrow.........."Stay Wonky":D
