Has anyone read Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby? It's like it's based on me and my sister - the northern seaside town, obsessively following a musician around, even the problems with being a lesbian in that kind of town is what my sister's faced coming out as bi! I keep laughing out loud at how true it all is.

I haven't read it but I'll have a look for it at the local library. I have a feeling I'll probably like it too, as I think we're thinking of the same northern seaside town here! :D

Kayleigh, we are! It's a fictional one in the book, and it's based more on Skeggy I think, but there's a lot of stuff I can recognise! I'm going to have to make my sister read it, she isn't really a reader but I think she'd love this.

Doomcow, what sorts of things is she into? Would she like a nice bit of jewellery, or is she more of a memories than a things person?
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Cleaning weather here....my OH woke me up clattering around at 2.45 and I ended up sleeping on the sofa....not used to another body in my bed quite so much!

4 of my ebay items are ending in an hour...the rest end later tonight. Some have watchers some don't so hopefully some of the stuff will go. Haven't got around to putting the rest on - a bit slack of me really, but hopefully will get some on via turbo lister tonight. Going to put any money I get into my christmas fund so that Christmas will have paid for itself this year. Which reminds me - I need to crack on with week 3 of my christmas planner..
