Been toying over the F&B as its alot of money but nothing else is as nice. Really must pull my finger out with this dresser. xx

Aww thanks for all your lovely comments :)

Nattyt yes the handles are from Homebase they are £9.99 for a pack of 6 but I need 7 so had to buy a pack of 2 also for £4.29 !

I have to say I wasn't sure about paying out more for the paint but I am so glad I did I just love the colour and the quality is very good. I forgot to say I gave the sideboard a light sanding between coats too which helps give a better finish too x

Noooo don't give it away Annie :) I used 3 coats of walnut stain on the top. I then did 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of Farrow & Ball Dimity. I took the hinges off and sprayed them with chrome spray and got the heart handles from Homebase :) really easy to do and looks really expensive. Hubby is really pleased with the way it has turned out x
Oh my heavens, that's dimity - that's what I use for makeovers too!

I am tempted to start sanding mine down RIGHT NOW!!! :rotfl:
