    Wow, Shelley, I was just about to give a smaller version of that cabinet to the CS! Now I can see it painted up and storing spare toiletries in my bathroom. What colour stain/varnish did you use for the top please? Also how many coats of undercoat/topcoat did you use? :D

    Noooo don't give it away Annie :) I used 3 coats of walnut stain on the top. I then did 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of Farrow & Ball Dimity. I took the hinges off and sprayed them with chrome spray and got the heart handles from Homebase :) really easy to do and looks really expensive. Hubby is really pleased with the way it has turned out x

    Hello all haven't posted for a little while but always reading and love seeing everyones projects :) after the success of painting my old dresser I rescued from charity shop I've just painted my hallway and decided my mexican pine sideboard needed painting badly. Unlike my last project which took months this took 2 days and I am really chuffed with it. I used the same heart handles as my last cupboard because I loved them so much. Here are some pics of before and after:
