Hi guys I am new to this thread. Just re-doing the bathroom and in need of a wall-hung towel storage rack. Am thinking maybe cream metal / wire with fancy scrolls / flowers or something. I googled shabby chic towel rack and loads came up in the images but most of them were in the USA.
The only one I can find is on ebay but there are so many nicer ones on the google-images.
So please can anyone of you nice people point me in the right direction
Thanks
Lisa
try Googling cream metal towel rail and select pages fom the UK on the left hand side of the page. Quite a few shabby chic options come up - see also French antique style choices because that's where the style originates0 -

BHS sell stuff like this http://www.bhs.co.uk/mall/departmentpage.cfm/bhsstore/232823/1/1
although they usually have more than this. Must be the end of the sale ! HTHNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
Oh Bebs..........I was joking! I sometimes forget that it doesnt come across in posts hope I didnt offend.
An oval mirror should be lovely, have you tried your local charity shops or furniture recyclers. The one in my town often have mirrors for sale.
Nah, you did not offend me lol..... BUT they are horrible :rotfl:
I have been looking on eBay but have not found one yet! Not tried the charity shop yet, but I will0 -
Thanks Seakay & Ellidee!:T
I guess I needed to be more specific in my Googling:D
Plenty of options now, just got to decide which one now!;)0 -
Hi
I ussed crown kitchen and bathroom cupboard make over paint in milky white that was a primer and paint combined. I think I may sand those bits down again and use the the primer I got for my chairs that were in a skip down the road. If I can't get the doors back on or find nice handles it won't matter any way :-) Milky white is too white and makes the doors and skirting boards look bad!0 -

Hi again, for some reason I can post and eBay photo but not one of my own - strange.... I will keep trying though.
Here is a wicker chair I won on eBay, am collecting it tomorrow and will be spraying it white for DD's room.
I have sprayed the chair with two tins and the green is still showing throughIs looks like I am going to need another two tins  Oh well, I am not too worried as the chiar only cost me £2.70 and it already looks great.

Hello all haven't posted for a little while but always reading and love seeing everyones projects
after the success of painting my old dresser I rescued from charity shop I've just painted my hallway and decided my mexican pine sideboard needed painting badly. Unlike my last project which took months this took 2 days and I am really chuffed with it. I used the same heart handles as my last cupboard because I loved them so much. Here are some pics of before and after:
Pic of hubby sanding it down:
