    Wow, that's excellent! You've inspired me and I've now done 2 doors a first coat. I thought I'd bought old white but it's pure white so that'll have to do.

    I did have success with an ikea step stool. I used a tester pot of Craig and rose chalky emulsion from b&q and it looks fab with only one coat. I'm now searching for things to paint in my house!

    I have finished my bedroom furniture. It's the 1st time that I've tried something like this.

    As there was paint left, I have also done the headboard & bedside cabinets and topped with a piece of glass

    It looks amazing! I often use a piece of glass to protect a painted surface too. You can put a cup of tea on it without causing any damage. Did you paint your mirror too? It looks like a complete matching set now. The power of paint! :)

    Yes everything was done. Feels very fresh and calming in there :)

    I've now given my kitchen a first coat and it's looking good so far. I can't believe how a £20 can of paint is transforming it!

    When I figure out how to post photos I will. I'm using my iPad and no idea how to do it on here.
