I don't think chalk paint is tough enough for kitchen cupboards and you're not going to get a smooth look. I used ESP and eggshell with a roller and have a dead flat scrubbable surface. No sealing or sanding required. :j
I'm NOT a fan of Annie Sloan paint.

I'm using chalk paint on my kitchen cupboards and am happy with the finish so far.
It's not super smooth granted, but it's good enough for me. Not sure how durable it is going to be, but hey, you live and learn and hopefully we'll be moving to a bigger place in the next year or so, so this is really just a quick tart up job.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Just brought some new chalk paint called Everlong , has the wax included. Painted some wood hearts and think I like it better than Annie Sloan.
Anyone else used it?Death comes to us all. When he came to Mort, he offered him a job. MORT by Terry Pratchett.0 -

Looking for cork discs to put on the bottom of placemats, I would use cork floor tiles but a tenner a pack not very mse.
Not sure if anyone knows what I mean thinking round sticky corky discs to put on the corners underneath to protect the tables.
