Lovely kitchen!
Am feeling particularly crafty this week as I hosted a sewing workshop at home the other day. Four sewing machines working furiously on new projects one of my friends was teaching us ... A happy day! And it's really got our creative juices flowing!0 -
I wish I was more crafty in the sense of being able to knit or sew. I just don't think I have the patience.
I like putting rooms together though and upcycling furnitureMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
thanks for the tips. went to a workshop last night on painting furniture/wax etc. they recommended authentico paints. i went mainly to accompany my daughter who is on a mission to paint every piece of furniture she owns lol but especially some 70's style melamine wardrobes. i might start small with a nice wooden tray. the modge podge is going onto some MDF letters.0

How did the workshop people suggest to paint the melamine?0

they said to sand lightly and then use a primer i think. they gave some notes so i'll have a read through them and get back soon.0
-
instructions say: oil based primer (meant to be slow drying), lightly sand, do 2 or 3 coats sanding in between. couldnt really work out how to seal it tho lol0
