Just brought some new chalk paint called Everlong , has the wax included. Painted some wood hearts and think I like it better than Annie Sloan.
    Anyone else used it?

I haven't heard of it before but I've just looked it up and it does look very good quality, if a little on the pricey side for me (not saying it's not good value, just that I'm glad I don't have an outlet selling it near me!)

I've been looking at it too. I had a look on their facebook page and it does seem good stuff. There aren't any stockists near me at all though. How did you find out price? How much is it? More expensive than Annie Sloan? I did ask them on facebook but awaiting reply. Thanks :)

I paid £5.95 for my tester pot and the 1 litre is about £22 I think. I brought mine from a
craft fayre. And the stockist is within 5 miles so better for me.
The stockist is doing free tester paint days.
Have given my wooden hearts a rub and they are done.
I hate waxing so easier for me.:j

Everlong - so is it basically an eggshell with extra adhesion? Is it shiny?

Looking for cork discs to put on the bottom of placemats, I would use cork floor tiles but a tenner a pack not very mse.
Not sure if anyone knows what I mean thinking round sticky corky discs to put on the corners underneath to protect the tables.

We get packs of felt pads from the pound shop to go on the bottom of chair legs etc, would these be suitable? Normally get a pack with some pre cut squares or circles, along with a larger sheet which can be cut to the size you want.

The ever long paint is matt, but the more you rub, can become shiner.Hope that helps.

Managed to get another bit done today :)

It needs waxing but I think it's coming on nicely. I'm pleased. It's slow progress though!

That looks fantastic! I have 2 cans of ASCP that I bought with the intention of painting my bed frames. However, after searching Pinterest I discovered it can be used in kitchens so I'm going to try painting my kitchen cabinets instead.

Did you take you doors off to paint them or just paint everything where it is? I have no idea how to get my doors and draw fronts off and on so was just thinking about starting to paint them.

    Thank you :)

My OH did take the door fronts off on the bottom units, but the 4 small drawers and the drawer above the right hand cupboard I painted in situ.

He also filled the holes, sanded them and then drilled the holes for the new handles, and then I painted.

It's time consuming as each stage has to dry before the
next can happen, and also with 2 small kids running about, it's challenging to find the time ;)

I managed to get another one done today. I'll take a pic :) x
