    Hi JJ
Just wondering how you have made it?
I would love to do one too-apologies for being a copy cat!!!

I can source an old frame, have chalk paint & wax, what about the middle bit?
My friend made me something slightly similar last year, she used an old standing up frame, and printed out a message about "friends" onto the cardboard you find at the centre of roll of birthday/ xmas wrapping paper, then famed it in the old frame, it's in our bedroom.

Have a look on my printables board on pinterest.

I just layered up the images and tweaked them then added text in an Art Deco font :)

No apologies needed. Its a compliment :)

yes it says "For best and 100% ECO FRIENDLY RESULT mix with water. For less ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY option - simply mix with your emulsion/acrylic base paint ( avoid mixing with gloss paints )"

I'm more in to home made at the moment though, as I have a gazillion tubs of old emulsion to use up. The ingredients list was interesting.

It does seem a very odd colour to choose for chalk paint though - if you just mixed it with water everything would be orange and if you mixed it with paint it would affect that colour.

I'd be really interested to hear what Kevie192 thinks of it

just noticed another paint - ingredients list is
Ingredients: Water, various clays, chalk, kaolin, vinegar ester, methylcellulose, titanium dioxide (white and some colours), pigments (some colours), 0.1% synthetic preservative.

no idea what it's like but gives me ideas for my home made recipe!

I am such a hoarder I might be able to repaint my house on stuff I have already if I wasn't too bothered about which shade of off white it was.

all I can say is what I do. The main hurdle is deleting the preprinted http from the MSE box

actually there might be better instructions somewhere on MSE written by staff
