Wow, bloomin gorgeous!
Chalky, just seen your cobbler thingy fetish on pinterest! I can't believe they sell for $145 in the states. I passed one up at the boot sale for a fiver as I thought it would be a tripping hazzard!0 -
I have 5 of them, or maybe more ... One is a plate stand for a huge brass plate, then there's door stops and book ends. I was fishing for ideas, but did 9 million pages of google and pinterest without coming up with anything else except bizarre sculptures. I do have a thing for industrial heritage, they match my giant workbench handrill that was my B/day gift one year, and piles of other old rusty things hubs probabably doesn't want in the house assuming there was room. I put up my old typewriter on pinterest the other week which is in the corner of his office and buried in boy tut.0

They are lovely but I too was stumped as to how I could use one. If our doors opened really wide we could have one as a doorstop but they don't and we are all desperately clumsy so it would be a disaster waiting to happen!
I love a bit of industrial junk! Have you seen Funky Junk Interiors blog?0 -

The first 3 rounds are perfect.
The great thing about crochet is its easy to undo if you do a booboo.
Hi I un did it several times tonight but no matter what I do I cannot get it right I've un done it again and left it in despair
In the corner Is it 3dc ch 2 or 3 then 3 dc then repeat in the same corner
Then do I do a ch 1 before I do 3 dc into the next space and carry on like that I've watched so many yt vids I have confused my self0 -

The pink poppy pocket bag was made today.
All granny square bags in one way or another.
Love the rose one though. That one was inspired by Cath Kidston colours.

Hi thank you yes I made all the bunting my daughter has some in her room too I like doing bunting I did some for a friend at Christmas using vintage fabric and lace to join instead of bias binding or ribbon which is what I usually use I did her a big table runner too it was more like a table cloth though as it was the width of the table

I realised I had been on that blog yonks ago when I saw her ironing board on a bench, yes it was lovely to browse through it. I find some blogs are a bit jerky to scroll down, usually foreign ones.0 -

If you follow mikessmail's tutorials, he always say 3-2-3 for corners.
(3 DC, ch2, 3DC)
When you meet back at the beginning (complete your round), remember to slip stitch it complete then chain again to start your next round above.
I think you have completed your rounds then just continued without chaining for the next round, if you know what I mean.
Mikessmail's vid is foolproof. Its the one I learnt for granny squares.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
