Bought this on ebay last night for 99p!!:j

Used the local ebay bargain finder for the first time yesterday and struck lucky. Have been looking for a bureau since March

Wow thats fab! I am still after a lovely bureau to do up instead of my bog standard desk lol
I've been pretty quiet recently, sorry! Been updating my blog a fair bit ;) Its actually starting to resemble something like a web page i think now lol xx

I've been looking for one for a couple of years, but as I work Friday and Saturday nights, never get to CB's

I'm collecting it on Saturday, so will decide what to do with it once I get it home. Will have to go in garage initially as I want it for under the stairs and the new kitchen is stacked up there atm!

  • We've finally ordered our kitchen! As much as I loved the duck egg, it wasn't sensible price-wise so I've gone plain cream shaker with oak worktop and flooring. The builder is coming early November to replace our big window with French doors and my Dad is building the stud wall for us next week.

I'm hoping that it will all be looking something like by Christmas and I'll be able to spend my Christmas money on pretty shabby chic accessories!

I may have to sell myown wall unit! Oh no!.what a thought.

This is brilliant and fatal at the same time!! Recently i got a mirror for 99p!! Its massive and really nice. When I went into a shop recently I saw a near identical one for £300!!!:j Then i got a HUGE Fortnum and Mason storage hamper with suitcase style leather straps for £5.50! My childrens room has never looked so tidy!!:j
