I thought you folks maybe interested in these gorgeous cushions. They're a bit pricey but some of you could probably make your own. They also have discount codes sometimes.

Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Bought this on ebay last night for 99p!!:j

Used the local ebay bargain finder for the first time yesterday and struck lucky. Have been looking for a bureau since March

I have got quite a few bits off ebay local, a large ikea mirror for 99p and a fabulous coffee table for £10.50. The table need work, so is on my list of to do.
The bureau is fab, do you know what you are going to do with it yet??
Don't forget to post pics when you have done it up, would be great to see its "after" pic
  • Oooooooooooooo I am fighting every urge against this at the moment as my husband would KILL me.....

The house across the road have a lovely display cabinet and have left it across there with a sign 'free to any home'. Want it, want it, want it..... It'd look lovely shabbied up.... Sob!! :(

What Ellidee said! Or do what I do and tell him I'm doing it to sell, then put it somewhere looking lovely once it's done and wait for him to either a) admire it and agree that it's a keeper or b) not notice it's there after a few days ;)

I know this is nothing to do with shabby chic - ing (but could help towards it!).... After receiving Martins tips email today, took his advice and I looked into my gas and electric bill, to find I was £530 in CREDIT! I now have a cheque in the post for £500 and have reduced my monthly dd by £28 :T Just a reminder to you all to get checking yours to see if you can save/claim back your monies!

:rotfl::rotfl: what Bibbity said, and seconded. I did the same with a bookcase, not yet shabbied, he now doesnt notice it in the corner.
