I thought you folks maybe interested in these gorgeous cushions. They're a bit pricey but some of you could probably make your own. They also have discount codes sometimes.

To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Bought this on ebay last night for 99p!!:j
Used the local ebay bargain finder for the first time yesterday and struck lucky. Have been looking for a bureau since March
I have got quite a few bits off ebay local, a large ikea mirror for 99p and a fabulous coffee table for £10.50. The table need work, so is on my list of to do.
The bureau is fab, do you know what you are going to do with it yet??
Don't forget to post pics when you have done it up, would be great to see its "after" pic0 -

What Ellidee said! Or do what I do and tell him I'm doing it to sell, then put it somewhere looking lovely once it's done and wait for him to either a) admire it and agree that it's a keeper or b) not notice it's there after a few days0 -
I know this is nothing to do with shabby chic - ing (but could help towards it!).... After receiving Martins tips email today, took his advice and I looked into my gas and electric bill, to find I was £530 in CREDIT! I now have a cheque in the post for £500 and have reduced my monthly dd by £28 :T Just a reminder to you all to get checking yours to see if you can save/claim back your monies!0

:rotfl::rotfl: what Bibbity said, and seconded. I did the same with a bookcase, not yet shabbied, he now doesnt notice it in the corner. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons.
