Sorry, I meant laminate :o but I think it was melamine primer I used on them, worked a treat. I actually used it on my kitchen doors prior to eggshell-ing too as they were laminate.

I got some lovely 2nd hand curtains from my friend today, completely free! They've replaced the nasty grey/green beauties that were on my landing and across the front door - very warm but not pretty. I just can't wait to decorate the rest of the hallway now (more photos elsewhere).

Oh my god! Ive forgottedn how to link a photo then - again hahahaha:rotfl:
  • Don't think my partner would let me get a compactum either as bit awkward to get upstairs, they are gorgeous though. At the moment I'm thinking of Ikeas aspeland or birkeland ranges both of which are white and then accessorising it up with shabby chic accessories and soft furnishings. Looking forward to seeing the picture :)

I've just redone my bedroom with the Ikea Aspeland range and it looks great. Had a whole wall of mirrored wardrobes before (so ugly!) that kept falling off the runners. I've got the triple wardrobe with the mirror in the middle and the tall three drawer chest. It's so spacious and has a secret drawer :j I'm currently making some little heart shaped sachets to hang on the door handles.

Ooh I've been looking at this range too - do you have any photos? I'm wanting to do a duck egg and white bedroom and despite saying I was going to add bits and pieces and paint to the cr*ppy wardrobes I have at the moment, I really cba as I'm so out of love with them :o
