I don't, the f & B is good quality and has a gorgous finish which would be spoiled by varnish. Tip the end of the paint pot into a jam jar, label it and keep it for touching up any chips or knocks.fluffybunny wrote: »Well, I've bought my undercoat/primer and my F&B Dimity
Quick question...do any of you put a clear varnish on top of the F&B? thought i'd read it somewhere but i cant remember!

Hi everyone!
Just wondered if anyone has tried to paint over laminated wood? Ive got some sliding wardrobe doors from b & q in the pine style - hate them! Want to paint over them, is it possible?

If you mean melamine, then yes I have! I used a primer first, then used a gloss roller to paint F&B eggshell over the top, worked a treat.0 -
