I wonder if it's changed since that linking referral thing started (which I opted in for)
Please can people not refer to their own blogs, or suggest people go and look there. It's strictly against the rules, and such posts may be deleted by the team.

MoneySavingExpert.com is an ad free site - you cannot pay to buy space - one of the reasons why so many people use it! Equally you are not allowed to advertise any goods, services and/or companies anywhere on the forum, or through private messages (PMs), no matter how honourable the intention.
'Advertising' includes touting for business; asking people to contact you; posting e-mail addresses which indicate a web address; linking to sites you or friends are involved in (whether you’re selling something or not), or to your eBay or other auction sales.
All posts which we consider to be advertising will be removed where reported.
Users are allowed links in profile pages but please don't mention them in your posts or signature in any way.
If you continue to advertise on the forum, your permission to post on the forum will also be removed. This includes the Referrers Board.0 -
first time posting is this thread. Thought I'd share my nearly finished hall art wall.
It's missing a couple of frames as my dad managed to knock them off and break them doh. I need to make one more art piece also, as you'll notice an empty frame.
Oh and I need to sort out the frame with the drum sticks in it, it's cut very roughly. Need to neaten it up and then paint over the deer0 -
Cool! What's the band? I can't make it out.0

Is Pinterest viewed as a blog?
I find it easier to link a photo from there instead of using Photobucket which never remembers my password and I have a huge hassle each time. Its so glitchy!!
I've just used up the scraps of fabric from the leftover fabric when I made the basket lining last night.
I made cabbage roses and they are adorable. Such a good way to use up odds n ends of fabric!! :j
I've uploaded the pic on Pinterest but want to check its ok to put the link on first?
Cheers.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

No it's not a blog but it's an outside website so probably isn't allowed. Don't worry about it though, we seem to be getting away with it! I use image shack to put pics on here.
(Just had another look at the rules, I think it's only advertising they don't want. Pinterest is therefore ok. Blogs without advertising and shops attatched should be ok too.)0 -
I just view it as an easier way to share pics.
I don't have a website or a blog. I wouldn't know how to! LOL!
It would be great if this site allowed you to access your photos from your device like Facebook does. So much easier!!
Here's the cabbage roses. My first attempt so I'm rather delighted:

in the tickets are 1987 for bob dylan and tom petty, then I've done a 'I don't like mondays' and metallica enter sandman art pieces and the 7" is The Jam. I got a drum terminology word cloud printed but that's one of the frames that broke.
I got a blog but its mainly my house refurb rather than the shabby chic stuff. although I've got some more stuff to make once I have my upstairs bathroom done so might add a shabby chic section
