There are loads of different, helpful paper flower tutorials on Youtube. I mixed and matched the tutorials to how I liked them. Have a browse and I'm sure you will find something that suits you.0

Hi all
I've just purchased an old lloyd loom chair as a project for an upholstery course I'm about to do. The paint work is very rough and I would like to repaint it, before I do the upholstery. I seem to remember seeing someone on TV paint one with spray paint but I can't find any info on Google. Does anyone have any suggestions/advice as to what sort of paint to use?
Thanks
I use watered down emulsion (so it looks like single cream) and build up layers over a few days. I've always been disappointed by spray painting lloyd loom - I struggle to keep it even and the spray is expensive.

What could I do with it? Im suspicious of using wood as a drainer for washing up, and mine is raw wood. What else could I do with/to it?''A moment's thinking is an hour in words.'' -Thomas Hood0 -

Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to have a go at using watered down emulsion as suggested by Luxor4t. The picture of your chair is fab. I feel a bit nervous about using spray paint! I will post some before and after pics soon.0

This one was done with watered down paint too. It takes several coats and there's all the drying time but doesn't clog the weave as thicker paint can do - also, it's very MSE as you can use up left over paints.
