Ok i have a bedroom thats south facing so very light, white walls, white headboards and light oak furniture and pale carpet, so all very neutral.
At the moment the duvets and sheets are cream i fancy trying to make it a bit more shabby chic looking.
Can anyone give me any ideas (preferably with photos) for duvets reasonably priced doesnt have to be girly flowers as not sure what dh would think.
thanks0 -

Matalan have some decent bedwear - also TK Maxx, not too expensive either.Normal people worry me.0

I found the Matalan bedding impossible to sleep under. Just something in the sheen of the fabric, I even bought a sheet to put under it but then it felt all tangled and rouched. So I have a pink flowery king size going spare. Was £15, bargain at £7 to shabby chichers :-D
( I will use it for something else)0 -

Chalkysoil the reason I quoted you is you must be local to me - sandwich is only 15 mins away from me, if you don't mind sharing, could you tell me where you got the chalk paint from there? Have been looking to get some for ages, but didn't want to pay high p & p costs online
Thanks - have a lovely weekend everyone!

That's a tomato planter I just made from old crates, cane supporting uprights and hessian to cover the gro bags.
I really like this Emma Kate and am always looking for crates like this. Where did you get them? The ones I see are so expensive! The greatest gift you'll ever learn,is just to love and be loved in return:love:Nature boy - Eden Ahbez0 -
I got them from a car boot sale for £4 each. I had no idea what I was going to do with them but I knew I loved them! They come up on ebay too.0

I have painted a kitchen table and want to put some decoupage roses on it then a coat of varnish- I used some Ronseal clear satin- but it had a horrible dirty brown hue to it
so have stripped it and started again!!!!
Does anyone know what type of varnish I could get that will give a true clear finish?
Many thanks
