Think you mean tester pots lajoni, the Dulux made-to-order ones are 250ml and usually emulsion. Can't remember how much they are though. You could get some strong colours to mix with white to cover the chairs completely..just an idea.

Probably though I always think of Tester pots as the small ones that Dulux, Crown etc do. Just thought they were good as there is ample to do a chair and you can have any colour you like ....I use them alot and wax, varnish or polish to sea :)l

    lol - am loving this!

So what has everyone been up to recently - I havent done anythign shabby chic and am missing it - but have been doing some sewing - thats over on othe thread I know - interesting how is all crosses over isnt it - I also go on UK Scrappers - have highlighted the sewing thread onto a part of that today - as quite a few papercrafts seem to be moving over to sewing - really must get my act together and do my other two dining room chairs - paint and upholstery - there are two chairs that hubby and I sit on - they are the newly painted ones and then the two munchkins sit on the ones that I havent done yet - can just see them putting sticky fingers all over it - still thats what its all about - am writing this as my daughter is chatting avidly away to me - really must go and come back later - bet I havent made any sense at all - lol - ttfn x

OMG, I bet we're a community of people who know each other but don't talk about mse in real life! I was showing a friend at work this thread the other day and she was having kittens about the amount of painted furniture. She was horrified that anyone could paint the old dark furniture. Poor thing, but I did show her some lovely shabby bits that we found on a site.
I don't mention this to many people any more because they get really offended with the idea of anyone overpaying their mortgage (why?).

Here's a link to the site, anyone remember the cup I was on about on the last thread? The one I saw was lighter blue but these are nicer (IMHO) http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=now+panic+and+freak+out+mug&hl=en&scoring=p unfortunately I can't access the website Mollie and Fred at the moment. I seem to recall that when we went on it, it wasn't called mollieandfred.co.uk any more but I can't find out what they are called now :( The site was lush and full of gurt lush stuff!

keiss I love the marble top unit :D the bread looks very good too :D

I put my picture frames up on my stair wall today as my kitchen is taking forever to do Im bored with it :rotfl: but I will get it completed before xmas if it kills me :rotfl:

I have been collecting wooden picture frames from CS's for ages and I found some poppy wallpaper in Focus, so I got a sample :rotfl:
    This is them flowerpic1.jpg?t=1286042142
    flowerpic2.jpg?t=1286042206

flowerpic3.jpg?t=1286042268 As you can see my stairway is the next on my decorating list. The boards are the original wall they were hidden under hardboard
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Lovely hart, I look forwards to seeing your hall finished. I like cladding, although it's a pain to paint (I had some in my old flat, including on the ceilings ).

I love your unit Keiss! We're in the process of having the new kitchen planned (the wall comes out next weekend, yikes!) and it looks like it's going to cost us a silly price to have a matching island unit. Luckily I've convinced OH that for half the price we could pick up a stunning freestanding antique unit that would look better and he's agreed to go for it :D I'm also very excited because despite having a trade account, the kitchen units came it at over £3k in Howdens :rotfl:I've been pricing up a stunning french gray range in Homebase (which we found to be expensive last year) and it's come in at less than half, so fingers crossed I'll be allowed it!!

I finally got my wardrobe finished today too. I'm just waiting for it to dry so I can distress it and then I'll pop some photos up to show you all.

And lastly, OH has fitted the new blinds in one of our bay windows so I've managed to take down the first pair of granny nets, hurrah! He's said he'll fit the other window tomorrow so the living room should be less depressing and the house should look a lot smarter from outside - I could never get the nets to stay straight!!

Oh, and just to join in with 'knowing' people - someone on MSE messaged me about something they'd seen on my blog and it turns out they're from the same area as me and used to work for the same company...it's a small world! :D
