Yes what a great coincidence. I found out I knew Vicki on this thread when I gave her my email so she could send me some pics or something and we recognised each others email addresses. Just goes to show it really is a small world.

Talking of which, where is Vicki. Didn't she go on holiday ages ago?

Hya all, not posted here for a while, a mixture of being busy and/or ill.

Think you mean tester pots lajoni, the Dulux made-to-order ones are 250ml and usually emulsion. Can't remember how much they are though. You could get some strong colours to mix with white to cover the chairs completely..just an idea.

Here is my marble-topped chest of drawers, now Barley-white (Dulux Satinwood), and with new handles from B&Q, coloured with Coloron Georgian Medium Oak Beeswax. On top is the result of a Great British Bake-off session (scones and cob), as well as four of my own recipe seeded wholemeal loaves (which look good, but were always a bit iffy inside). I have since discovered the River Cottage Bread book...and I am making
much better bread!!! Sad I know!!

The stool next to the unit will be getting a paint job soon, though I want to keep the vinyl top as it's in good nick and goes well with my kitchen colour scheme.

Love all the make-overs here...you have been a great inspiration to me!! Wish I had re-done all my kitchen like this...though I was very ill last year when DH installed the Ikea kitchen, which is wonderful!

Right off to get some sewng done, nearly finished an Xmas present for my Dad...loads more to do, so have to get a move on.

    Night, night

    I've returned your pm jennyjelly.
For those who are intrigued, we do have a shared fb friend so are now trying to figure out if we know each other. It's highly probable since we live very close together and are in similar lines of work :) and if we don't, then we may well have met. I'm awful with names, better with faces!
