To see images, go to User CP then click on EDIT OPTIONS on the left hand side and then scroll down and you can tick for show images, show avatars and something else which I can't remember. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Got myself a lovely wicker old fashioned picnic basket from a local cs yesterday - cane work is in such good condition I think I will leave it in its original state but line it with some pretty fabric in a flowery pattern.0

Hi all,
Loving the latest projects from everyone, and Irishgirl I am in awe of yours and your finds too.
Pregnancy means mine are so slow now... Today though managed a bit more gardening, some repainting of garden furniture, plus spraying the chair cushions I had redone with some fabric protector. Also helping OH a bit with our office makeover...
Really want to finish our set of chairs though - the chair cushions are redone and sprayed, the chairs just need sanding and painting with the F&B I have - one finished and 3 more to do...maybe tomorrow I will make a start or later today will sand them if not too tired.MFW #185

Wow you have all done some fantastic work!!
Im new to all this (new to just decorating lol!!) Anyway we'd like to repaint our bedside tables and a couple of other things and I was hoping for a bit of advice please
I guess we have to sand them and then paint them? Ive seen that you mostly recommend F&B but Ive just had a quick google and there seems to be very mixed reviews about their paint, is it really good or bad? What are the other alternatives? Also where do you get it from? Ive seen that post people use the 'eggshell' finish but you can't get that in Homebase, B&Q etc.. so where do you all get it from?
Thank you in advance! I hope to be posting pictures of my make overs soonMay Groc challenge £51.70/£1300
